Yeah i like to kill that sniper blobs.
Oh my units are invisible my enem cant do not.... OH MY GOD WHIRLWIND ARTILLERY KILL EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!

Lol, I won two more games with Space Marines. Its ok now, its balanced cuz I started to win, haha. But uh, lost all of my stuff couple of times during the game.
you won cause it was mirror...
Mostly, haha. The first one yeah, but the next two we were 2x SM + 1 Ork vs all of 3.
Gotta say, tho. This doctrine for making the listening posts stronger is quite usefull. It holds a lot longer till support arrives, I had Whirlwinds bombing it to no end, and it even survived the biggest Ork rock dropped from the orbit. Its going to be a while till we unlock all the Elites and doctrines and see what works and what not.

Rangers have 18 DPS.
For comparison:
Tacticals have 28, Dire Avengers have 40 and scout snipers have 23.
Yes, they should at least require a spotter. I have a bunch of them shooting my generators and the listening post from the the whole other side of the chasm, not to mention killing my troops that approach to it. I can only go around to reach them (in the meantime my stuff gets destroyed), or to blindly drop Assault Marines/trukk ejected troops and get them wiped if there's an army on the other side.
idk, they are cloaked and out of my vision, still they can see me! LOL
they need to at least have their vision distance reduced.
So you know you are attacked by invisible forces but bring no units to make them visible? I think i see the problem.
As i remember space marine scouts are able to launch that sensor station that give vision in a larger area.
Also a servitor in your army can easy Spot them.
And your enemy need a lot time to build up a huge ranger force. Before he is truly defenceless. Build a forward barracks to reinforce losses very fast. Use Scouts To find the ranger and put asm/droppods on it.
As a side note I have found servitors really good at tying dire avengers and even tacs up in melee. Really helpful if your opponent got to the bubble circle first

Just wanted to add to the discussion involving revealing/spotting cloaked units.
The servitor can send a skull probe to a unit, I havent tried it myself but you could try sending it to your scout squad.
I haver tried, no one get It, i think it should be the opponent to get It?
You select your servitor and its the ability next to Repair, you can use it to fire a sort of Radar on an area, its not very long ranged from the servitor so you still need to risk it a bit.
Edit: I am sure I saw someone in a stream a while ago attach it to a squad but I dunno if they changed that.

I watched one of Pawnce's games where he ran around with a massive chunk of Rangers.
The Space Marine player countered this by using the Librarian's big circle thing and trapped them; sadly he did not follow this up with ASM and drop-pod flamer meltyness, otherwise they would have been gonners.
I think you just need to strategise a bit more; I think your positions are a bit too impulsive Bigamo - if you lose with the strategy you employ it must be imbalanced. You don't reflect, evaluate and analyse your games enough, if you did you would be more successful.
My advice rewatch your replays and see what you did wrong(or look for advice); watch some other players on Twitch, try out different strategies until you reach a good counter-strategy. If you are unable to find counter-strategies after much attempts the chances are they may be imbalanced, within a beta it's still too early to tell.

... SM don't stand a chance. i have won a single game vs orks in the whole day and just cause of solaria, i had just one point and being attacked non stop when i got solaria then i have won the game 10 minutes later, 46 minutes game. But orks are just impossible to beat as SM. i delete 13545656774 squads with jonah and Gabe and there is always more. Ork bodies everywhere and i still lose.
For someone who apparently has Jonah at Lvl 10 you really should be better.
Eldar go down to plasma and mass las dev/landspeeder with MMs + AM w/ power swords tying up shooters.
Orks go down to mass flame and destructors/preds with whirlwinds firing salvos in support.
Banner, Jonas/DW and Orbital Strike as necessary. Presto.
And that's not even the cheesiest combo. I haven't used Solaria even once.
Space Marines are not bad at all, especially in 3v3. Whirlwind Spam with the fire doctrine will literally melt entire armies. If you get 5-6 whirlwinds and nail one point you will kill almost anything. I hate it.
Just got out of a 2 hour long 3v3 match, was insane the number of dead, and when the SM started to spam whirlwinds on the other team we all realized just how absurdly OP it is. They need to do something about it or it will become the norm in every 3v3 game and I wont play it.
Oi you gitz! Orks are nut da best! Weez need sum more powa from gork and mork. Doez umies and eldar gotz all da shinies from da gaem develoopers. Weez need a proppa WAAAGH!
Too early to speak about balance. 2 SM in the finals of beta tournament. Does it mean much? Probably not. But after few days of beta, it is hilarious to think everyone got grasp on the balance. People get outplayed all the time, and they blame balance...

The easiest way to find out if something is imbalanced, just try to do it yourself and see how hard it is to do and what others do against.
