So is this it? is there no split patterns or stuff that was in DOW 2 which really diversified the chapters that could be accurately created. Am I missing something? I dont see if if its there. I know its pretty much a SM only thing but I don't object to having such pattern differences available to other races too since custom armies are well, custom armies, though sometimes also used to create chapters, craft-worlds, and so on that are not featured in the historical list...maybe consider some DLC later for army painter at the least with compatibility packs for those who dont care about it.
also please add The Lamenters to the official list of SM chapters that are selectable.. I Always gotta love an underdog lol. hell they are one chapter I think could make an interesting spin-off someday in a w40k game, that would be very tragic but ultimately victory against overwhelmingly crule odds with great cost... So yeah they are pretty interesting to me because of their tragic nature, yet are full of resolve even though the price of their victories going in they know is gonna be heafty.. I kinda like selecting them in games that allow it because of their underdog status and the irony of winning with them.. besides they are not really extinct.. GW made it ambiguous for a reason with conflicting information, and they are still featured in TT games..

I'm really upset that they removed the pattern schemes for Space Marines, I don't understand how they removed something the last two games had? It really upsets me that I can't make the Howling Griffins.

I didn't know DOW 1 had that.. I thought this army patterns was just like the original... dow 2 though has all that lovely half-half, quartered, and so on army patterns... but in dow 1 you could upload your own barges... which would be awesome then I could just make the Lamenters my self lol... rather then having to use an Eldar badge as a substitute... it just screams heresy. I can see why they would not have custom barges anymore but adding a report feature for anything well bad would solve that, and its an M rated game anyways right..
