I dont understand that mechanic sorry.
You move all your units under a waaagh tower. Check. You active it, you hear cool music and then we got firework and every cry waaagh.
But whats than?
What exactly do waagh?
How can i see how long the waaagh is active?
When i put 3 Waaagh Towers together and every of them waaagh does it stack and make the waaagh stronger?

Not sure if you play Orks, however, if you hover over the "WAAAGH!!!" on a tower it states the following:
"The Waagh! Tower starts by hyping up nearby Orks before culminating in a WAAAAAAGH!!!! Increases Speed and Attack Damage of your units in a Circle. While active, the Waaagh! Tower takes increased Damage and reveals itself on the minimap."
There is no direct timer to show you how long the WAAAGH buff has left, however, from testing it using a stopwatch from when the buff was applied and to when the buff was removed I learned that the buff remains for 30 seconds. Furthermore with the longer WAAAGH duration buff from our Pile O' Gunz the duration can be increased by 15 seconds for a 45 second WAAGH buff. Additionally, multiple WAAGH towers don't seem to stack the buff from my testing. Furthermore, keep in mind that the presence of various elites can apply more boons on a successful WAAGH if they're running the appropriate doctrine.
Warboss Gorgutz will allow a successful WAAGH to heal units in addition to it's speed and attack damage boon.
Gorkanaut will allow a successful WAAGH to reduce incoming damage in addition to it's speed and attack damage boon.
Mad Dread will allow a successful WAAGH to have a longer duration in addition to it's speed and attack damage boon.

Imo, the Ork WAAAGH mechanic is great. However, keep in mind that in multiplayer everyone hears the drums of war. That means your enemy is going to know when you're attempting a WAAAGH and where that tower is. That's why it's crucial to not only set off only 1 tower, otherwise, your enemy is going to know where your army is located and where you're going to attempt coming from based off the revealed tower. That's why I tend to activate multiple towers at once in order to cover my tracks on where my army is coming from.
Furthermore, sometimes I just activate a tower purely for mind games. They think my army is somewhere they're not or they pull their army back because they think they're about to be met with a WAAAGH'd Ork army and that helps me delay enemy attacks in case I'm trying to build a certain unit or two before I get attacked to help me win the battle.

Don't they see the orks next to the WAAAGH banner or do they just see the banner? I'd assume if you popped 3 WAAAGH Banners the enemy would see 2 empty banners and one with a green horde.

They actually don't even see the WAAAGH! banner itself, they just see a red dot on the minimap. If they take their screen to the tower's position they can hear it, but still not see it. So they can just hear 3 concerts playing here and there on the map. but they don't know which one of them is dangerous.

It's as @TheGodOfCakes mentioned. They don't see the actual army, otherwise, that would be broken since it would reveal army size and composition. It's merely a red dot in their minimap. So using the same example he mentioned, if you set off 3 towers they'll only hear 3 concerts and 3 dots and have to randomly guess which one is the dangerous one.

Wouldn't a WAAAGH be the perfect opportunity for your opponent to use their reveal ability on the builders? Or maybe there is a range to that ability, I've never used it. Why do we keep using the number 3? Do you not waagh with all 5 to avoid giving away the positions of all your waaagh banners?
I don't even know why I'm asking as it's really not my concern, I've just become curious at this point.

I can't speak for others, however, I merely just use 3 as it's the number I selected to use as my example. The point that I was trying to put across was that I always activate more than at least 1 if I'm planning to attack to avoid making it obvious where the attack is coming from. Also,to my knowledge Eldar and Ork builders reveal ability only reveal stealth within their proximity and only the servitors have the ability to use a "ranged" reveal. However, it's not exactly a grand distance and you would have to have up to 5 servitors built in close proximity to each tower if an Ork suddenly activated all 5. That alone requires you to know the location of each tower prior to the activation or be close enough to reveal the location within 20 seconds.
Either way, them knowing the location of my WAAGH towers isn't that important to me. You can select towers and self-destruct them by pressing Z. As I mentioned before, it's mainly to cover the obvious location of my army if I only activate one and I'm actually planning to attack with the WAAGH buff.
TheGodOfCakes
@Kharneth There is a range limit on the vision abilities builders have, so they can't just quickly check which tower is the dangerous one.
The reason for 3 is probably just because it's a number that seems both rationel and easy to comprehend for the human mind. Not saying 2 or 4 or 5 are harder to use, but 3 is somewhat integrated into our brains through media and stories from when we were little. But human psychology is a subject for another time
For WAAAGH! towers in particular, this strategy works best with 3 or more towers in the game. 3 can be used as soon as you hit mid game, and at every point after that. You might not always signal to the enemy that you have 5 towers, as it equals the other races writing in chat: "I have tier 3 up and going, beware of my super ability". Not a good idea if you want to keep it as a surprise. Keep in mind that the only Ork unit that requires 5 towers, is the Big Trakk, so if you don't build that too soon after tier 3, they won't know you have it.
And there is no reason to be worried about asking questions. The title of the thread isl literally "questions about WAAAGH!", so ask away about anything related to the topic
Kharneth
Man, you guys put so much thought into your battles. I need to step up my game.
So, last question. How many orks need to be part of the WAAAGH in order to summon the Bloodthirster? :P I plan to remain salty for quite a long time about the exclusion of Chaos haha.

Enough to take over Relic HQ so you can make the DLC. So about 1-2 nobz. Maybe nob commandos, to make it stealthy. Just remember to paint them purple, da sneaky colour... whoops, I've said too much, nvm the last part
