look like the forum eats my last thread, so i try again.
First, im sorry when i annoy some people around here with my questions.
The point that i am a huge fan of Orkz and i played them a long time in tabletop. But im not really good at RTS (31 years old, married, with children) and have not the APM to set up all the abilitys in Starcraft 2 for example. I really like the easy early game with autospam on stickbombz but in later game with all the units, all must be scrapped up and get so much abilitys i must use....
Thats the reason i currently play eldar, cause its (in mey casual eyes) the faction with less active abilitys and more about strategic teleporting and movement. I thigt alot to play space marines, but the opening with ASm and Tac-flamer was to stressfull for me.
So now i read a view things which could changed my mind. Some Abilitys are smart, so for example the flamer of tac-marines. When i double tab them the activatet automatically on the next enemy. Thats great for a gamer like me.
So now i have the vision of playing orkz and just group all units Together under 1, having every unit variant (tankbustaz, lootaz ect.) under a second number and fight like: A+Click on enemy army, selecting every unit group and give them specific targets and double-tap the active-abilitys. Is the a way i could play orkz? I know that im not a pro gamer and that this is a very low standard. But is it enough to get some nice 3vs3 fights out there without having the feeling that im just only a happy meal for my enemy?
Addition to that i have some smaller questions to the units.
The Boyz ability, is that a usable thing? I dont understand what they do, and how to use it. Sadly there are no videos like for the abilitys of the elites so i have some problems understanding how to use it.
Is there a reason to buy killakoptaz or are the "useless" like the viper/landspeeder?
The truckz able to catapult Units into enemy lines. Is that some goofy ability which i could use for fun, or is it something which is very important to play Orkz? Should i builde 4-5 trucks to shoot nobz into the enemy range or should i play the more "normal way?" Are units in trucks affectet by waaagh?
Whats about the big Tank? Is it useable on the "not so war away" modus like a predator or is it just artillery like the fire prism or whirlwind?
Are the bombsquiqz of the tankbustas a smart ability so i just could launch them on the hearest enemy?
Which heroes are good start heroes? i think about commando nob (cause the stormboyz dont seem to be very good), wheirdboy and finally a gorkanaut, cause orkz need dakka!
Could someone give me a build order to orient on it? Which unit should i buy, which not?
