SPOILERS
What the heck was that?!
Really Relic, how basic & generic could you be? Not even a single Necron, not even an unplayable one, appeared in DoW3 except for that poor excuse for a "lol see you in a year for $20" after-credits scene. Was all your campaign team could think of was "Oh lets just re-do Dawn of War 1's story but on a Necron cage-world, and not even show a single Necron"..? Absolutely pathetic.
I promptly advise everyone to NOT pre-order any of DoW3's expansions, I know I wont be. IF they turn out to be good, then purchase them, but definitely do not feed Relic our money for poor cash-in's of our beloved franchise. The only way Relic are genuinely going to hear this negative feedback is by us not opening our wallets solely at the sound of "Dawn of War" & by not promoting that we fans "enjoy" DoW3's content by purchasing it.
If Relic wanted to kill & bury the Dawn of War franchise, then congrats, they did it.
(And this isn't even covering how they butchered the multiplayer too. DoW3 truly is heresy in it's finest form)

I for one thought the story was alright but it was much less effective because they didn't have the original voice cast. As for not showing any necrons, I mean they didn't advertise any necrons in any marketing or say that you would play them in this game so shrug. I mean it was in Winter Assault they showed up, and that was the first expansion. Now with the lack of content I can understand really wanting to play some necrons, but we bought what was advertised, three races.

Not sure why the obsession with necrons. If necrons appeared at the end would it have changed your opinion on the campaign that much?
Queso
They really didnt need to add necrons to the campaign. But the campaign ending was really a piece of pants. That final level is an insult to the rest of the game.
GeneralSkull
but lets look at the factions at the end
1 Imperial forces
Blood raven space marines =lots of forces lost for mostly nothing, an entire ship lost not shore if they got out or not, a world in their debt
House Varlock=lots of forces lost for mostly nothing, saved by blood ravens
inquisition= lots of forces lost for mostly nothing, lost blockade things? and looking like a real dumpy oh and no spear lol
2 Elder craftworld Biel-Tan, Ulthwé, other?=lots of forces lost for mostly nothing, dump crazy leader killed by a trap of chaos, reclaimed lost relics like the Wraithknight know giving taldeer a body (wish they could find a way to give her a fleshy body because man she was killed in a bad way) Macha in command?

Is it just me or that there was no real emotions or talkative fights between the main charactors of the game (Macha, Gabrial and Gorgutz)
Gorgutz not suprised to see the blood ravens again, no reminiscing the past involving Taldeer or Thule.
Macha not suprised to see Gabrial again and his new rank (not to mention the history between Taldeer and the blood ravens and what the traitor ravens did to her), no reminiscing the past or being informed by Taldeer about Gorgutz.
Gabrial not suprised to see Macha again or mentioning the history between Taldeer and the blood ravens and what the traitor ravens did to her, meeting Gorgutz for the first time and talking about the Kronus victory and the failier at Kaurava
just no real drama like they had in the past game

heh, I tought the campaign had a lot of problems but... the necrons never crossed my mind to be completely honest with you, hahaha.

I was let down by the lack of interaction, even the between mission extra dialogue choices didn't really open up a lot of discussion.
I was going to let it slide.
For me, the silly level with the bloodthirster and all those 1993 Doom healthpack game design choices totally ruined the campaign for me, sadly.
