I have a specific question for guys that relates to a more general topic.
Generally, do you guys rush to the center in 3v3? Specifically, I think it's called "K'homet" or something. It's the one that is ovaloid and looks like you are floating in space.
I used to rush the center regardless of my army and then I'd backtrack and capture the points behind me, but this always resulted in heavy losses and often times my team would lose the middle. Actually, almost every time my team did not get the middle. I no longer rush the middle. It's partially also due to the fact that ever since I learned that you don't need to build the tactical marines from the very beginning, I've started sending out lots of servitors and then getting my ASM as soon as possible.
Yesterday I was playing in a match where I did my usual "new" strategy of heading to one side and capturing those points and putting my forward base there. One of our teammates b****ed at us for not helping him in the middle and then told us that we didn't know how to play.
My question is, do you guys generally rush the middle? Is it uncool for you to not rush the middle with your allies at the beginning? This was just a PUG and we didn't have any preparation or anything.
