Small bit of feedback on the issue of sync-kills (Or maybe it's a non-issue? I miss them personally).
Incorporate them into attacks. For example, in TWW when a Giant sync-kills a soldier, his sync-kill animation hurts and knocks down troops around the giant. This means that the giant is still in combat and can still be damaged while not stopping him from doing his job.
The thing with melee troops is that you often assign them a target and allow them to deal with it. Certain troops such as melee squads don't need sync-kills, but giving it to large single entity units and making them short does not effect the gameplay or control. For instance, maybe a Dreadnought crushes his fist into a Deff-Dredd and knocks it down, causing enemies surrounding the Dreadnought to be knocked over or damaged. Perhaps a Knight Paladin puts his sword through a Wraithknight, revs it, removes it and the following collapse does the same.
Sync-kills don't need to exist between the rank-and-file infantry, but it was always the big guys that made the difference from a cinematic perspective - And it CAN be implemented in a way that works. Everybody remembers their first FC Bloodthirster sync-kill... And probably all of them up to their last. They were rare and incredible sights.
