This is important issue.
"Base Requisition rate increased from 260 per minute to 340 per minute" - from last patch
game was fine with 260 requisition income. It was much enjoyable. I don't understand this patch.
now it's spam fest. all about spam. Requisiton floate all the time. It's mess. Reduce it.
PS : I have never seen game forum which lock the post except here, because there is another post about it. It's lame.

I agree early game income shouldnt be that high. Atm its pointless to build rec farms just power...
First 2 escalation phases should be focused on DoW 2 style play and Last 2 phases should be full blown DoW 1 style where we then get our oh so awsome massive battles.

First we already have multiple posts discussing this.
Putting that aside I disagree with OP. It took a moment to get used to it but now it feels like you don't always have to rush straight for t2.
Previously if your opponent got to t2 before you it was extremely hard to do anything against t2 heavy armor units with your limited t1 units. Now you have the option of investing in diverse builds that spend power in t1 to get an advantage instead of being forced to race to t2 asap and skip using most of those t1 units.
Not to mention it helped a ton with fixing the snowballing where if you or your team lost the first fights half the team would instantly quit because there was likely no coming back from that. Now you have enough money to keep fighting and try to force a better engagement or hit their economy to turn things around.
Meltreness
The snowballing aspect was countered, which is good. In my book it was countered a bit too much though. I think if a players looses a lot of his stuff early on, he should be punished harder than it is now.
Maybe keep the req per minute the same and reduce the cost return on lost units in early phases and increase it in lategame phase a bit.
Fate
I like the higher income, it makes the game feel more dynamic imo.
Also it makes early sm droppods a little less op since, more units can be produced but the droppod cooldown stays the same
Armageddon
I agree with OP. Income way too high, and game is way too spammy.
In addition to that, many other aspects bother me. The models are way too cartoonish and undetailed, where as I loved the models in DOW2. And I don't like the effects in this game. For instance, I loved the fun firing on the Wraithguard in DOW2. In this one, the shots look stupid and cartoonish.
Also, a lot of units look like non-serious jokes. A walker in DOW2 was a serious piece of hardware. A walker in this game is a cartoonish thing that you can spam, and they are quite small - like a toy.
Gameplay is too fast, graphics are too cartoonish, effects aren't as cool as in DOW2, walkers and other hardware are toys, and I think the abilities are stupid compared with DOW2.

Yea gameplay is too fast.
Graphic is ok.

340 income too much anyway. 300 income will be better option.

people spam units because its the only thing they can do to spend the huge influx of req. you'll maybe be able to afford a few actually good units like tanks or dreads or something but then you need to build like 10 tac squads just to spend the resources.
the raw amount of resources you receive encourages spamming and really it needs to be toned down. makes marines and eldar feel cheap and very expendable when the opposite is true in the lore
Technique
How is ~6 squads a spam fest anyway?
And there is still upkeep as well.
