In one of skirmish videos I had notice that AI aside of random package has also both offensive and defensive loadouts for early, mid and all phases, but not for late game. It is something that Relic found not easy for AI to accomplish?
Maybe those are the "all around" loadouts? Part of being an effective late game player is surviving to late game.
Also, I cant say if the packages actually change AI behavior beyond which elites/doctrines are available. In theory it would be nice if early game offensive was actually programmed to rush more than the other packages, and so on.
Also - eldar AI doesnt build webway gates - but its sort of balanced out by how quickly they can rush out a falcon at times.
Its hard for players to go right into late game without elites, its impossible feat for any RTS AI to overcome player skill to the point where AI can play crippled without mandatory powerful units.
