Does anyone else feel this way? It was the same thing with DoW2, where the 1v1 maps all felt too big, and the infantry too slow.
It always feels like a ring-around-the-rosie backcapping contest, where the person who gets an economic advantage is the one who is the best at stealth capping, not defeating your opponent in brutal full army clashes, which currently only happen sporadically. At least there are listening posts now, but if I go south, and my opponent goes north, I often just have to trade a shield gen, because it takes so long to get back
Would it be too much to ask for some longer, narrower 1v1 maps, where the only way to beat your opponent is to push THROUGH him, not around him
