I Greatly enjoy the fact that the game shifted back to a more typical base/resource building RPG like (dating myself) Warcraft two style. I enjoyed DOW II despite this because it it was seriously story based single player which always made me want to complete to find out "what next?", because despite having a new mechanic system it was story and driven based, where all the DoW1 played like a strategic campaign of a RTS. I Dont want to play races and factions in single player which i don't enjoy; Realize your prime demographic for the original dawn of war is as much older as the time it got you to get here. We can love the product as the fact your product exists from our financial support a decade latter, just let us play what entertains us in our limited spare time. I don't want the single player camp to prep me for playing every race(or stall progression) in a murderously competitive MP online environment with all possible factions/mechanics. I just want to feel like a hero playing my chosen faction's story. Thats all I care about, feeling like i was a participant in their story.
I want to have fun and be part of a good story, not try and have a e-peen measuring contest against other players.
