I'm sure this is not the first topic of this subject, but this is for me the most hampering thing when playing DoW3.
I have never played a RTS game online with such delays, which is probably contributed by playing with far regions. Also there are issues like pressing once an elite hotkey, when it is already selected, makes the camera jump to that elite, when it should only jump there when the hotkey is double tapped. You cannot select all the same type of unit with ease from the bottom bar, which means you need to click every of them one by one in a hurry.
It is frustrating to lose battles just by the delay or when an unit doesn't knowledge a command at all. Especially with Kyre, he almost always just stands still when you quickly give him commands to fly and move after that. It seems you have to wait for some animation to finish before giving orders or just use the plan mode, but the game unfairly makes you learn this by total accidents, when you really need the elite in battle, but after microing other units you will be shocked that your elite doesn't do anything.
Sometimes I feel the attack move doesn't work and when you right click an enemy unit to focus fire you might misclick by a margin of millimetre, which means the unit will just run there and possibly die. Why the unit formations are so pedantic about where to click them.
All in all the UI, unit commands and input delay need some rework and polish so the game could shine like it should.
