At least sc2 has complexity. Let's price the marine at 50, zealot at 100 and roach at 75/25. Vary the roles, HP, dps etc across a spectrum with respect to tech trees.
Looks like they arbitrary priced the TACS at 400 heavy bolters at 450. and revolved around some baseline.
This is simply a rambling post but you get the idea, UNITS are just scattered around varying prices with no real intuition with respect to race or playstyle.
Just horrible design all around. There is no opportunity cost in terms of upgrades. Upgrading infantry comes first and will always be compulsory. There is no time or weakness when upgrading. Sunk costs upgrades have no penalty for timing attacks. Upgrading vehicles suck and you guys know it.
Too many mirror units. Dark reaper = HB = lootas.
walker units suck and anti tank infantry is too powerful.
