Playing as Eldar at the moment, I've noticed I'm always looking for every last bit of power I can find (no surprise there). My playstyle is to get a falcon out asap so I don't invest in resource upgrades - given the lengthy payoff time, I've felt that it serves me better to get that falcon out quicker, but invariably I'm scrabbling around for power while I get my 1-3 Falcons out. Is my reasoning too simplistic? Better to delay the falcon by 50 power to get the longer term snowball effect of the extra power later in the game?
The soul shrine also takes an age to build and all the vehicle upgrades keep it locked up for a while anyway, but I can be pretty far in and have un-upgraded infantry because I'm prioritising falcons. Naturally this is situational but again, is it one of those where you delay the Falcon by 50-100 power periodically for the sake of your army?
Curious as to how everyone else tends to spend their very limited power.
