I guess everyone who play this game often know the situation about backdooring, espacialy Spacemarine.
Thats the reason why 80% of teamgames are full with Spacemarines, and just play braindead backdooring 24/7.
I play mostly 1vs1, and also in 1vs1 its a common issue.
And i don't think relic planned to play the game in this way.
All what my opponent does, is building ASM's wait for min 10-11 to drop 2 Elites instantly on my shieldgen , and ofcourse +1 weapon and powerswords!
He give a ++heresy redacted++ of Map control, he try to herass but fail mostly.
I won this game , but it was very close, while i was ahead and won any fight!
Still he got this stupid timing window+ space marine ofcourse, to play backdoor, in our AMAZING power core modus!
So really that was the plan how we should play the game modus?
Honestly, this Backdoor problem exist only with space marine.
Orks got wagh into one shot towers (killacan spam) its also annoying as hell.
Eldar could teleport a Webgate behind your lanes, if you are so dumb and let him do this.
And then he can slowly teleport there, so if you got vision to this, its easy to stop!
It really don't know how come with the idea on relic's side.
To create a powercore modus , and give 1 race the ability to drop all elites + units near your powercore.
And the best thing at all, the droppod from killteam deal absurd amount of dmg to shieldgen!
On one side, DoW3 is really nice, has alot of micro fights .
And Skill matters alot.
On the other hand, there some stupid mechanics, like backdooring, wagh tower design in generall (combinated with our amazing map design)
And alot of mini bugs , and espacialy path issues.
Pls don't tell me now, DoW 2 was much worse in paththinding then dow3, Fine!
Its maybe correct, but still the path finding issues are aviable in dow3 and they are still annoying! Espacialy if you place produktions buildings near a corner, and you order your squad to go around there.
I mean this are 5 small marines, but still they are to dumb, and after they manage finnaly to find a way , the HP bar is so buggy, (on a different position )
