Dude.... Space marines have to use a doctrine just for tacticals to throw one of the worst grenades in the game and people say the doctrine shouldn't get a slight buff. Compared to your reapers now getting suppression, that's incredibly more useful.
Devastators start with -1 suppression and get an upgrade for -2 later on in the game so they're pretty equivalent for suppression in the game at the beginning now.
Almost like your just trying to whine because you want to for no good reason.

The game is still all about the elites, and more gimmicky because of it. Why hasn't Macha been nerfed? Eldar win rates, right?
Almost nothing changed from the feedback. Overall this seems like another horse blinders patch that makes me think whoever is doing the balancing doesn't play the game. The las devs change wasn't even in the original proposed changes, and we actually had to ask for them.
For me the download didn't start up correctly. Steam detected an update, but no download was executed. I guess I have to wait a bit more. What should be the latest game version, anyone?

That was mentioned as a potential future change, not as one intended for this month's patch. It caught a lot of debate in the forums as it's a major change and may address some of the bigger criticisms the game has received. Maybe we'll see something sooner if somebody can get the mod tools working
Hah, I thought it was confirmed. it made some sense to me, but now that flamers are pretty much nerfed, the buff is not needed. anyway, weirdbboy fist need a nerfbat.
Well, at least that isn't this bad, when the patch dedicated to partisans only broke the unlocking sequence, locked one tech permanently and had transformed AI partisans into Terminators squad with "unintened increase of firing rate". That was funny to see them blowing up 222's, wiping out Fallschirmjägers and pretty much everything, but tanks on the field. And that have persited for a week, just like autocanon-like ZiSs and volcanic flamers.
I'm not even mad this time, because they've backed up the game. By the way, the current version seems.. balanced, if you're to look at it again, no?
Horrible balancing imo. They again make the mistake to balance the game based on punishing popularity that roots in personal preference and not actual race preference.
It's not the players fault that Relic uses the least more likeable races in Eldar and Orcs.
80% prefer SMs because they like SMs and they hate them less than Eldar or Orcs.
This logic has wiped out the Nid race in DOW2 and although the SMs were completely broken and the weakest race in 1vs1, they were again the most popular one.
And again they succumb to the Eldar players influential voices, just like it happened with DOW2, were they were unbeatable.
The ranger buff is an overkill, they already were very exploitable in 1vs1 and they buff them?
Dark reapers were extremely potent and my favourite unit in the Eldar army, cost efficiently the best ranged unit and they buff them because they were not popular enough??

Ok, we all know that Relic hates the SMs And they are forced to tolerate them because of their popularity. The massive needs happened because of their popularity, they are the most popular race and it's natural, that having the largest player base their strenghts will be discovered and become popular. Only toning them down would be sufficient, but combining them with the huge buffs their favourite race got, it will make the game extremely frustrating for the vast majority of players, who prefer them as their personal choice and for the possible exploits.
Again relic punishes popularity and avenges a race and not the exploiters.
And of course, they completely destroyed the Orc-Eldar balance. Orc were really hard to master and buffs could make them OP for the ones who did master them, but they were so few, that Relic could afford it, without hurting much the community, but buffing so much the Eldar, to make sure that they will get more players from the frustrating SM experience, the Orcs will now be loosing even more battles vs the Eldar, which was the norm anyway and being the least popular race there is, chances are that the few players that we were occasionally trying to master them, will stop the effort and only focus on Eldar cheese, to maximize our winning chances and joy.
I was expecting that the DOW2 Eldar fanbase will eventually revert the relative DOW3 initial balanced state, to Eldar supremacy DOW2 standards, but no so fast...
And although I was sure of it, it still is sad it to see it happen, the balance team took a careful approach in Dow3 up untill now, this is the first time they went so far and guess to which side?

Rangers were not buffed, a doctrine no one ever used was. With the doctrine in effect, Rangers will have 5% more DPS then sniper scouts.

Destroyed what ork-eldar balance? Metrics and leaderboards have shown that orks walked over both, SM and eldar.

If you are so delusional that you lost capability to see the reason, then maybe look at first balance patch we had in DoW3, which removed eldar from competitive scene all together for months.
