My problem with this guy is that he is insanely hard to deal with as eldar. You literally just a-move him into battle and reap the rewards. First off, he is an extreme challenge to kill with dire avengers, dark reapers and banshees. With drop pods and shield banner I don't see how you can kill him early on. I know that you should not use meele units against him, but he is freaking fast with his buff and something needs to occupy him. The worst part about him though is his capability to tank the turret. In escalation one I have seen SM players line up in front of the turret and not feel a thing. Not just Diomedes, but the army itself. Diomedes'es shield will tank all the laser damage. Even worse he will start to heal the buggers after a while.
My question is how is this power house only 3 elite points? I get that Macha and Rohnan(For eldar at least) are quite powerfull too, but this guy just need a little disruption to get his buffs going and he almost cannot die. Macha and Rohnan are very killable. 3 elite points seems too low for this much in my opinion and should be increased to 4. SM has way too many abilities for early dominance and with this guy they guarantee it.
Do you guys disaggree? Increase in cost or stat reduction? Or fine as is?
