After 2 months come back into DoW 3 my pleasant impression of improved balance was shattered by nasty "chain CC" meta.
I find abusing a horde of T1 units to make late-game super walkers and vehicles sitting ducks a completely cheap and uninspired mechanic. Hence, I propose adding a "tier" system for all existing CC abilities and adding new ones for higher tier units through the wargear expansion (luckily, Fluff provides more than enough options for customization, not to mention Relic's licence which allows them to make up stuff).
Blind Grenades, Sluggas charge stun, Banshee scream should only affect infanty, infantry-based commanders and light open-topped vehicles (Trakk, Vyper, Speeder);
New wargear, like Grav Cannons for Devastators should be added to help dealing with high-tier vehicles and super walkers, band-aid "focused shot" doctine should be an alternative rather than a complete must have if the match makes into late-game. Same goes for other factions: more supportive unlocks (rocket launchers for Dark Reapers, Beamy Deffguns for Lootaz) to take CC into a late game.
