Let me start by saying I'm brand new to DoW3. I grew up on the 90s RTS (Command & Conquor, Star/Warcraft, etc), and am kind of picky in this genre... and I really like this game. It's a great game so good job Relic!
However, I have eye problems, and the lack of UI scaling is keeping me from enjoying it. I had to stop because I keep squinting at the screen. This topic has been posted before (I know, I checked) but I'm hoping the more it gets the suggested, the more likely UI scaling will be included in a future patch. I really want to play, it's a beautiful looking game, but right now, I just can't play it. A slider for this would make a huge difference. I know the devs have said the UI size for each resolution is working as intended, I get that, but the customization option here would help a lot of people, considering how many times this has been suggested. So please, put in a scaling slider for the UI. And if it's already in development, then awesome! If not, hopefully more suggestions for this feature will bring up the priority on it.
Thanks, aside from the UI, this is a real cool game!

Feel ya man. Even without eye problems some of the UI in games tear people up and is definantly a deal breaker for alot of people. Like the game dreadnaught. The devs put so much work in implementing Lore tid bits and descriptions to ships and upgrades. The problem is nobody can read it especially from their couch xD.
In short. If you gotta squint to effectivly read anything we got problems. LoL

Someone gifted me the game. Been a long time since I had a pc that could play games know I love RTS. I have a 55 inch TV sit about 8 feet from it and cant make out the text. I couldn't believe someone making games as long as the DOW games would leave this option out. It's moronic. WTF? Really and you haven't fixed it yet? GTFO! This is so ++heresy redacted++ stupid easy to fix. Its ok though SC2 is free, have a good life morons.

@TalkingCrow I have almost an identical setup: 55" TV and I'm about 8 feet away, but I can't read the text, and the icons are fuzzy to me. It's not the clarity of the resolution, it's the size, and I'm not going to adjust my entire rig to play one game, as cool as it looks.
Dawn of War Devs: if you actually read this, then know that I don't speak from ignorance. I'm a programmer. I've worked in web and UI development as well as game development. A slider for UI scaling would take very little effort. Even if I didn't know how development works, the fact that so many games have it now should be evidence enough that it is a necessary feature. Please fix this so the money I spent on this game doesn't go to waste and I can enjoy what you worked so hard on to create.

Some of it is almost unreadable on a 900p monitor, and I don't need glasses.

Well... I dont think relic had people in mind that where playing fast paced RTS games like you are. 55 inches and sitting on the couch or love seat? Bit over the top lol.

I have a setup like this. I love RPG's and story-heavy games which is why I have the big 4k screen, but that doesn't mean I can't like RTS's, too. This is also about making a game as accessible as possible, for as many players as possible. I'm not talking about difficulty or mechanics, just a simple aesthetic change that would broaden the audience. There's other good reasons for my setup as well: sitting with my face inches from a screen gives me headaches and makes my back hurt. I already spend 8 hours a day at a desk, so when I game, I want to do it kicking back on my couch.
I will say "GTFO" is definitely an over-the-top response, however. My intent was to bring this flaw to the attention of the devs, not insult anyone. I want to play, not antagonize the people who make awesome games. It just sucks when this scaling issue is the only thing keeping me from playing.
