Video Game Customer Abuse is controlling, coercive or threatening behaviour, violence or abuse between games devs and customers. It doesn't matter what your gender or sexuality is.
It includes the following types of abuse:
psychological
physical
visual
financial
emotional abuse.
Anyone can experience VGCA - it doesn't matter whether you're a man or woman.
Being sold dreams, waiting a decade, promised updates, patches and races are ALL types of online violence and abuse. Trafficking is a abuse too - get help if you think you've been video game trafficked.
If you've been affected
If you are the victim of an abusive gaming relationship, you might want to:
get help from a charity or another organisation/game dev
report the violence to the police
leave home temporarily or permanently
stay in your home and get the game who is harming you to leave/uninstall
take legal action
