Hey guys, Dullahan here. I've released the first version of my balance mod.
General aims for this first version:
- Slow things down with significantly more durable units through upgrades and objectives/structures.
- Reduce effectiveness of percent damage and various elite abilities.
- Rework weapons teams and lascannons/tankbustas to be more power dependent to mitigate mid to late game spam of said units.
- Address chain stun and crowd control abilities
1. Balance pass on 7-9 point elites to make sure they still aren't too powerful
2. Possible tweaks to escalation phases and unit costs
3. Tons of playtesting and making sure everything is working as intended.
I'm going away for a week on a work trip tomorrow so I won't have much time to help playtest or make adjustments in the interim but I would love it if people could give it a try and give me some feedback. Feel free to discuss the current changelog as well.
