I am confused about what the game manager is supposed to do in game? Is it supposed to connect your games together so you can play one game say the dark crusade then when your done with dark crusade and want to play winter assault you go into the game manager and switch it? As every time i play a game through steam and I get into the game and see game manager i see the game i'm currently playing and the activate button, making it look like i could activate another game to get into that game? or is it just meaning activate the game and register it? I am royally confused about how the Game manager is supposed to work....because if its supposed to "link" your games together then how do you do this?

The Game Manager is used to handle different .module files, which you typically only use when working or playing with mods. Expansions through Steam I believe are linked through Steam, or the games might still have the legacy CD key activation page to register vDoW / Winter Assault / Dark Crusade (in your copy of Soulstorm, for example). Non-Steam copies that have never been registered with Steam will still use the CD key approach.
