So it's 2020 and I'm still down for a new last stand.
I'm not the only one, just jumped onto DoW2 today and got a match of last stand quicker than I got a match in League only an hour earlier.
I was amazed by this and it prompted me to say again... Last Stand V2 please
Don't need to change the formula.. 3 v horde is cool... Hell, you could sell the base game with only 3 races and put the rest into the cash shop for all I care, I'd still buy it.
Keep the painter and sell skins or character variants on steam or in a cash shop... I'd still buy it if the cash shop was just cosmetics and races.
DoW2 is still on the top line of my most hours spent in a game on steam after all these years.
Last Stand was always just fun and challenging and co-operative.... unlike other moba's which tend to just be addictive and toxic.
I've got basic programming, modeling, and multiplayer development experience so I know for a fact that a few people with pro skills could knock out the base setup in a few days and hit early access within a month or so. I'm not talking about re inventing the wheel or aiming for triple A kinda revolutionary stuff. Just drop a map, 3 characters with a few items and 25% of the mobs to get started. Seriously tempted to do a spin off myself.
