DOW Soulstorm and Dark Crusade Can't join any multiplayer games

Just downloaded the original 4 DOWs. Whenever I try to join a game I get this message "couldn't establish connections to all players"
I can't find anything about it online, it's happening to my friends too. Don't have any issues with any other steam game, just the DOW games.
