Publishing the Elite Mod on Steam

Hey, it will take some work between the community and Relic for this to happen but what team needs is permission. Is there anyway Sega/Relic could help the Elite mod team publish their mod on steam. It will help the community massively. It puts the job of updating the game in the community's hand and we know its possible, Just Cause does it with its multiplayer mod.
Word on this would be great.

There would have been rather extreme circumstances around the JC MP modification and similar projects. I sincerely doubt this'll happen, for a variety of reasons.

It wouldn't hurt to try, at this point getting onto steam is fairly easy. There are plenty of projects that are just free but require a base game. All we need need is permission, they are no longer updating Dawn of War 2 so it doesn't seem to hurt any.
