Here at Relic, we welcome your participation in our forums. We ask that you use them in a way that respects all other participants. For more information on our Terms & Conditions, please visit this thread.
If you have broken the Terms & Conditions, you will receive a private warning from a Staff member or a Moderator with more information on why the warning was given. Over time, warnings will decay and will no longer count against you.
Warning types are listed below:
Which type of warning you are given for an infraction is at the discretion of the Staff member or Moderator who issued your warning.
What does Jailed mean?
Accruing multiple warnings within a week will change your forum account’s status to Jailed. Being Jailed restricts your ability to start discussions, display your signature, and only allows you to comment once every 2.5 minutes. This way, you can still contribute to the community while waiting for the Jailed status to subside, which should only last 2 weeks if no other warnings are received during that time.
Please note that excessively bad behavior will result in an immediate ban at the discretion of the moderation team, regardless of how many warnings you have accrued.
If you receive another warning after you’ve been Jailed, you will be permanently banned from the forums. Being banned from the forums does not affect your game account.
If you have been banned, please do not create a new account to resume posting. Creating additional accounts to circumvent a suspension in is direct conflict with our Terms & Conditions and will result in a permanent ban on your new account(s).
Remember that warnings will decay over time, so please only send an appeal if you have become Jailed. To appeal a warning, send a private message to the member of the moderation team who issued the warning. If you do not reach a resolution, send a private message to one of the Relic Community staff members. The moderation team will review appeals on a case-by-case basis, and may even extend your warning upon closer inspection. You cannot appeal the same infraction more than once.
If you are concerned with how your ban was handled, or wish to rejoin the forums, send an email to [email protected]. We review appeals on a case-by-case basis, so please make sure you give us as much context as you can.
Do not send multiple emails regarding your appeal. Spamming this inbox slows the process down for everyone and will result in extended ban time.
