Yes, Angron likes the battle and facing his enemies.

Yes, but as I understood that, that caused a delay in further preparations for the fight on Istvaan against the Loyalist legions, so at that time, it was not the best way to get rid of the remains. Ofc, they still managed to prepare, so not sure how much it changed.

I remember Gabriel Angelos as great character and I'm very glad that he is back in the Dawn of War III no more as the captain but as the chapter-master. He looks the most badass of all Dawn of War characters I seen in his terminator armor and iron halo. I just wonder if Gabriel Angelos will be able to change his abilities. He have a lot of area abilities and they will be not so useful against stronger foes I guess. Some non area abilities like iron halo ability or ability making bigger damage would be better.
I never like the captain from the Dawn of War II. He was stronger in normal armor than in the terminator armor and in the terminator armor he is stronger in close combat with the ranged loadout than with the close combat loadout... He was also able to destroy Eldar Avatar but when he was even unable to defeat Ork warboss. He was very sad excuse for the captain.
I hope that the chapter-master will be way better than this.
What are your biggest hopes for the Gabriel Angelos in Dawn of War III?
How many hours do you have in DOW 2? I have had well over a 1000 and the force commander is actually one of the most OP in the game. As for your comments "He was stronger in normal armor than in the terminator armor and in the terminator armor he is stronger in close combat with the ranged loadout than with the close combat loadout... He was also able to destroy Eldar Avatar but when he was even unable to defeat Ork warboss. He was very sad excuse for the captain" i find this a very poor comment. Upgrading Gabril into his Terminator armour increased his HP pool to a huge 2500, unlike his other armour load outs that gave him 200 HP. What armour you chose was completely dependant on what you were up agaisnt and very situational. Having FC in termi armour with and using his 'cleansing flame' ability one upgraded with the flamer absolutley destoryed mobs of blobed units. On the other hand giving him lighting claws would decimate most squads, so i find your comment about stronger in ranged then close combat to be wrong.
All im saying is that he had alot of great options to use, the powefist was op but also so was the hive tyrant claws. He also could stand up to the Warboss one on one.
Dawn of War II - 827 hours
Chaos Rising - 65 hours
Retribution - 2085 hours
After all, there was no Angelos in the Terminator armor in Dawn of War II.
Force commander in Dawn of War II is opposite of being OP.
Force commander in the terminator armor with power claws would never win with the force commander with any terminator ranged weapon don't even mention power fist without the terminator armor and yes, he sucks so hard fighting with Orks warboss. I don't know who you was matching up these characters with or who told you that Dawn of War II force commander is better in the terminator armor but this is bullsht. If you don't see after 1000 hours how much he sucks I will show you in numbers.
terminator armor
health - 2500
health regeneration - 0.5 pts/s
dps - 70 (melee loadout) 85 (ranged loadouts melee)
no terminator armor (1 energy=5 health)
health - 200+(220x5)=200+1100=1300 1300+1272=2572
health regeneration - 0.87+2.36x5=0.87+11.8=12.67 pts/s
dps - 85
Idk what kind of idea is to make force commander stronger without terminator armor and make him better in close combat with ranged weapons. Thunder hammers supposed to be way more powerful than power fists. It makes no sense and it's lore breaking. Force commander in Dawn of War II is just terrible.

Using Artificer armor and Iron Halo meant that you have a unit with around 1500 health and 200 energy (1000 health) at later lvl's while retaining it's speed and being able to set up most things in Tier 1 and adding a weapon in Tier 2 (Thunder hammer against Heavy Infantry, Power Fist against tanks) and with librarian's speed boost it turns into a beast which can kill any other hero (there are close contenders - Warboss with last armor, Tyrant with shield, Warlock with Heart of Darkness, etc. but FC is imo better at just rushing opponents and pummeling them). And if that is not you style you can just take Termi armor and flamer and demolish blob armies and power generators in seconds in Tier 3.
Using FC as a big scary shield while running with snipers behind him is surprisingly effective as well as just using every possible melee unit with him to charge opponents and just tying entire armies in melee. FC was powerful in DoWII, and in most cases can be defeated only by very strong early builds (IG sentinels rushing at the very start) and large amounts of cheese (Spamming Zoans, 3 squads of Sluggas in a Truk, several well supported D-Cannons, ...). So I don't see how he was weak, if anything he was OP.
And he did all that without ballerina jumps in Termi armor.

Completely depends upon tactics, FC needed speed if he was used as a battering ram, but in a game where you use it as a deterrent to hunting your scouts or if you give him armor of alacrity he was more than ok even without librarian.

Yes, but the Chaos Lords are corrupted Force Commanders so in lore they are close to each other. So if the Force Commander lose with Chaos Lord it don't means that he sucks (especially if the Force Commander is better in close combat with ranged loadouts ^^')

Well, I can give you a replay or two, or you can just check out my stats in game. Warboss in raw dps is better, but FC is just more usefull. Mind you, Warboss is a very good commander and SargoXIII can do wonders with him, but nah, FC is just ok way it is.

220 energy.
No one is talking about librarian. Force commander in Dawn of War II was pathetic without his aid.
Completely depends upon tactics, FC needed speed if he was used as a battering ram, but in a game where you use it as a deterrent to hunting your scouts or if you give him armor of alacrity he was more than ok even without librarian.
For now my friend from DoW II is offline all the time so I can't do fights but one day I will record for you how your great Dawn of War II "OP" force commander fights with warboss and you will see how much he sucks.
Well, I can give you a replay or two, or you can just check out my stats in game. Warboss in raw dps is better, but FC is just more usefull. Mind you, Warboss is a very good commander and SargoXIII can do wonders with him, but nah, FC is just ok way it is.
I don't know what you are talking about. In Dawn of War II force commander is unable to defeat warboss. You may not believe me but we was checking several times. That force commander is just pathetic as I said.
Game stats have nothing to do with character's strength.
I hope that jump ability will be removed, it doesnt suits the armor Gabriel is wearing.
If you really need to give him the ability to cross canyons and cliffs, give him an artefact / psychic power for teleportation...

They could just improve his voice lines. Angelos was looking like a B action movie character. IMHO
Indeed his look and voice after he became the chapter master was perfect but now looking at this one i say blasfamy this is not G.A this is a lame GI joe reject not a wise, mercifull, eternal super soldier commanding legions of a chapter that seeks its forgoten past

Yes, Angron likes the battle and facing his enemies.
Xerith
Yes, but as I understood that, that caused a delay in further preparations for the fight on Istvaan against the Loyalist legions, so at that time, it was not the best way to get rid of the remains. Ofc, they still managed to prepare, so not sure how much it changed.
HORDESLICER
He is just impetuous.

Chaos Lord was the strongest anyway. He has the most health and dps.
HORDESLICER
Yes, but the Chaos Lords are corrupted Force Commanders so in lore they are close to each other. So if the Force Commander lose with Chaos Lord it don't means that he sucks (especially if the Force Commander is better in close combat with ranged loadouts ^^')
