Ad Mech has the problem of being too new and as a standalone army it's ulmost unknown outside of TT players. I know it's fairly popular with TT players, but most others only know it as the support faction for the other armies of the Imperium.
Yeah. I've not played TT 40k since 3rd edition, and I didn't realise they were like a proper stand-alone force now until I started to read threads like this.
Don't get me wrong, I mean I played Epic 40k too, so I'm well aware of the Titan and Knight Legions but I also just assumed they were the fighting arm of the Adeptus Mechanicus (and as a result you would normally deploy them in support of your Space Marines or Imperial Guard armies, not alone). Didn't realise they were ever designed as full army unto of itself until they started popping up in these threads.
Taldeer can fly/jump around too...
I don't think he'd be flying permanently either, just have a jump on a cooldown (like he had in DoW1).
Besides, have you seen how awesome he looks in DoW3? There's no way they wont have him as a playable unit.

Im probably the only person that thinks greater demons should not be tge super elites of DoW 3. A part of me wants the blood thirster the other part of me just knows that the Blood Thirster would have to be nurfed to the point it doesnt act like a blood thirster. The blood thirster would be the first elite hero in the game that can fly move fast and hit like a truck... It would be OP because non of the other superheavies can do that making the blood thirster a nobrainer choice for a 10 point elite.
Well it would have to be balanced like all the rest of the super elites... which have all been nerfed to let them fit into the game.
A Bloodthirster is roughly of the same power as a Avatar of Khaine, which in turn is similar (maybe a bit better, though with less mobility) than a melee wraithknight. Don't get me wrong, Bloodthirster would probably win vs a wraithknight, but it would be a good fight.
Also, remember a squiggoth beats the ++heresy redacted++ out of a Bloodthirster in DOW1. So does a greater knarloc Both of which are wrong lore wise, but are like that to balance the game. So putting a bloodthister on the same level a wraithknight/Imperial Knights/Ork-onaughts is pretty OK imo.

well i thought the campaign ending made the next race pretty clear ? i dont think we will see chaos for a while.
Doubtful. If anything chaos will be released along with the necrons or right after. Chaos has by far more fans than say Tau, Emo eldar, nids etc etc.
Would even go with saying they are more popular than necrons. Cause lets be honest necrons were pretty lame and had close to zero impact in the 40 k universe except whenever a admech freak shoved his Heresy redacted in a necron lords mouth(which is the reason why they changed how necrons act and started giving them personalities etc etc) (which i dont think was a good move but whatever)
Necrons struck me more as a neutral faction in the 40 k universe that mind their own businuss until someone gets in,their businuss and necrons played that role very well. Neutral deadly boring.
Releasing a race that actually can bring relic and sega money in and is easy to make is something they wont put on hold for long.

I would say Ig are coming after necs (if we even get there) the reason is simple -> they were added early in every dow game till now and after adding a evil race you need to balance it out with a good one.
Also as for necrons beeing neutral, personally i give them way more evil points then orks which are currently the "baddies" (more like comedic relief, seriously whats up with all the bouncing buildings)
also to the whole there are no good and evil races in 40k ---> the side which fights for humanitys survival is the good one. It doesnt matter how bad they may be, they are still better than everyone else.
well as i saw the hints about Necrons in the game , the First race + campaign that gonna hit the game is definitely Necrons , and As you can there are some Models of Chaos and IG stuffs in the game , so i'm sure after the Necrons , the next race is Chaos then IG ;
other than that i'm pretty sure they will release 2-3 races depends on their popularity , most likely Tyranids and Tau Empire

I never got the evil vibe from necrons. Yeah they are deadly but necrons usually keep to themselfs. Chaos strikes me as far more meaner than necs.
Also Relic doesnt have to follow the Good race bad race formula they can add however they feel and what gets finished first. True they had IG assets but they also had chaos assets out.
Necrons because they are cool and they were too easily defeated in the past. Also Dark Eldars because they were poorly made in Soulstorm and appeared only once in the whole series. Those two races would allow for some fresh stories (maybe). Chaos is boring and there was way too much of it in previous installments and even in this one. Other imperial factions dont bring much story wise. Unless it would be a new faction previously unseen (I am not an expert in W40k). The problem with tyrannids is that they do not fit that well into the squad format of Dawn of War. Starcraft zergs are much better in the role of the insect hive. Neat squads of insects with reinforce mechanics? I never liked it.

How the (redacted) is KHHHEEEOS BORING but you say necrons are cool? Makes absolutly no sense because the crons barely have any involvment with the 40k universe EXCept some small occasion and showing up or awaking whenever a mechanicus scribe puts his mechandrite pekker in a necron lords mouth.... Necrons are the most passive neutral race in the 40k universe and only kill ++heresy redacted++ when someone puts a hair or a dung pie in their NANO FLAKES. GW had to even give some higher ranking necrons feelings and personalities thats how lame they felt.
In life war, in death peace. In life shame, in death atonement. I want to see my death korps of krieg. My favorite imperial guard regiment, love those ww1 styled models. Necrons and Chaos would be nice too.
I saw someone ask for dark eldar, i can't even imagine having them in this game. People complain about eldar right now on their mobility & shields. Dark eldar would be even more paper thin, i can't see how they would work well.
Well I have some favorites, especially Tau and Tyranids, but to be honest, I actually like playing with every faction in RTS games. So currently Dow3 has Space Marines, Orks and Eldar, but I will play with them just like with every new faction if any, that will be added to this game. In conclussion, I have my own favorites, but I will gladly play every faction this game has or it gets.
Of course I suspose that will we see Necrons first because of the hint in teaser.

I am just waiting Impreral Guard with Ciaphas Cain (joke, but elite good Comissar will be excellent) and i want Tau Empire too.

I would like to see, Imperial guard, Tyranids and Necrons in that order.

By far... this game needs CSM. And a big reason for that is their elite demonic monstrosities = more epic late game battles.
I mean, what's a more epic unit in DoW history than the Bloodthirster?

If they release ig releases it will be a no brainer for them to release the behnbleehd as a 9 or 10 point elite.
Obliterator would make a cool 7 or 8 point elite being able to counter everything.

Ive wanted Tau for a very very long time. The DOW 2 mechanics would have been epic for them and a shame they missed out.
Chaos has been in every DOW it would be nice to give the Tau some love!
