You know how it worked in the previous games? The hero characters just had a bunch of fancy symbols and effects that popped up when they used abilities, and had a glowy light/circle around them at all times. That was clarity enough. More than enough.
Do you really think your playerbase is so blind that you need to spend all this time and money on animating JUMPING and SOMERSAULTS and GIANT FLASHY STRIKING POSES AND all that nonsense just to say "HEY! Your unit is DOING SOMETHING!"
I mean, at this point, I'm so jaded I've finally come to accept the art style change. In fact, it's grown on me a bit. But I had to push myself to like it.
But this whole clarity thing, just, _why. _
You can do a QUICK GOOGLE SEARCH and see from wikipedia articles and sources that Space Marine armor is so dense, they can not do those sorts of things.
Space Marine Power Armor is too heavy to swim in.
Space Marine Power Armor is too heavy to leap in.
Space Marine Power Armor is too heavy to DO SOMERSAULTS in.
Which is why they need JUMP PACKS
And what they said Gabriel Angelos is wearing? Artificer Armor? Noooooo, noooo, no that does NOT look like Artificer armor to me.
Artificer armor is, by Lexicanum, just heavily modified standard suits of Power Armor.
This is what Cataphractii, the HEAVIEST variant of the armor looks like.
How can you look at Angelos' armor and tell me that DOESN'T Look like Cataphractii armor? And nevermind that, how can he jump? Relic, you KNOW 40k fans are absolute lore fanboys. That's the whole reason they love the series, because of how complex it is. Why would you think that this would just pass like water under a bridge?
