So Kat and Paul Leonard-Morgan showed us on the twitch stream, each factions theme. They went into great length about the musical "palette" for each race and how that's shaped their score. So what do ya'll think so far? Here's mine in short form to get things rolling.
Space Marines: Give me some more of that distorted, flange, space organ!
Eldar: Bring on the hell bells! But not too keen on the meaty drums for them.
Orks: Needs Djent, and a cocaine fueled weekend listening to Rammstein. But I'm being too harsh I know. Currently going through a Mick Gordon (DOOM!) man crush phase at the moment, so I'm seeing things through one lense.
Thank you to Kat and the Relic Community Team for doing this stream for us, it was freaking awesome!

Music sounds amazing so far. Hopefully such artistic effort will be put into the game itself.

I love the Ork theme:
It's awesome and metal-rockish

I like the direction it's going in, but I just keep thinking of Rammstein and industrial rock when I think about the Orks now. Relic and Paul Leonard-Morgan have now planted the musical seed, and all I can imagine it being now is the sound of hammers smashing and warping metal against it's will, and something sounding along the lines of "Du hast" or "Feuer Frei".
But again, I do like the direction the Ork theme is going. I just feel it needs a little bit more metal than yo mama's kettle!

I like the new direction of the music. Not really a surprise because I loved the soundtrack of Dredd. I need more of 1980s sounds in my life.

Start listening to Gunship then man. And start watching some John Carpenter movies. All the synth! All the 80's vibes to indulge there!
But in all seriousness I was introduced to 80's sounds about a year back, and I havnt looked back since.

Just think they are very good for getting ya pumped. Very repetitive, slowly building up to something, not to complex, powerful tones, good use of synths. Very good band to listen to, if ya doing some grinding for a game like Final Fantasy X
