For anyone who haven't seen: http://www.ign.com/videos/2017/01/30/warhammer-40000-dawn-of-war-3-full-ork-mission-playthrough
Before I start I'd like to say it is only my opinion and feel free to tell yours. I just want to know how everyone elese feels about this so let's get into it.
Actors that I could recognize:
-Brian Dobson - he did a lot of voices in every dawn of war. Here it seems like he does the slugga boyz and maybe the lootas.
-David John - goblin great shaman in total war warhammer. I think he is some short of new grot announcer.
-The guy from eternal crusade and chess regicide doing orks in both games (couldn't find his name). Gorgutz himself.
So my issue is the other voice actors, not all of them, the weird boy seemed fine and let's say the grots were fine too (who cares at this point).
The thing is, when you listen to the voices of the tankbustas and the shoota boys they sound ridicoulusly unorky, like they weren't even trying, relic did a horrible job
giving them money for this horrible performance. They sound ridicoulusly off, they are not orks they are the farest from them as they can be, the only thing they understood
is to yell and read the script. Their voices really irritating me, it did hurt my head when I watched the video and it makes me very disapointed.
The saddest thing is that there is Brian, who did almost all the orks in every dow games and you have to listen those whiny squeelings next to his good performance.
They should just let Brian do them but that's won't happen so I hope they'll use some voice filter or some ++heresy redacted++ to make their voices more grunty and deep and orky.
So what do you guys think? Am I overreacting it or relic should keep those guys far away from orks or for fucksake put a filter over their voice at least.
