I’m getting the Steam error message “Failed to start game (missing executable)” or “Login is currently disabled."
You will encounter these errors if you try to run the beta client outside of the beta testing period.
I just logged on for the first time, and I’m stuck on a “Connecting to Relic servers, please wait...” screen.
Sit tight! Upon your first launch of the client, the servers will verify your beta access. Please allow a minute for the sync to complete. You will get a popup saying “You are now connected to the Relic Link servers” - click “OK” and you’re all set!
Help! I was kicked from a multiplayer lobby and can't join another one.
If you encounter this error, restart the beta client and rejoin the group.
Submitting Crash Reports
My game crashed. How do I submit the crash report to the developers?
All you need to do is submit a BugSplat report. A BugSplat window will pop up after a crash. Simply fill in the fields and send the report! In the comment box, it’s helpful for us if you describe what you were doing just before you experienced the crash.
My game crashed, but I didn't get a BugSplat report.
There are two ways you can help us out!
Open the File Explorer window
Navigate to \Documents\My Games\Dawn of War III Beta
Attach the warnings.log file to your forum post
Launch DXDIAG from the Start Menu
Click Save All Information
Upload the DXDIAG.txt to your forum post

Device Driver Troubleshooting
I am experiencing a device driver crash.
The closed beta will run best with the latest drivers and updates for your system. Please check the folllowing links and download the latest drivers from your GPU manufacturer:
My graphics drivers are up to date, but I’m still getting crashes/bad performance.
Some systems have multiple video cards in them and, in some cases, we aren’t properly picking the right one. In the meantime, use your video card control panel to force RelicDOW3.exe to use the dedicated GPU.
But I’m still getting device driver crashes with latest drivers!
Check if you have screen/video capture software or other utilities that could be injecting their behaviour into the game. We have seen some cause crashes. Try without them and if that fixes things, please make a post letting us know which program you had a conflict with so we can track down the issue.
Network Connection Troubleshooting
There is a network connection issue. What can I do?
Make sure your firewall or antivirus program isn’t blocking RelicDoW3.exe
Make sure the IP address 188.8.131.52 is whitelisted
Make sure the TCP ports 443, 27017-27030 and 50000-50010 are open
I’m experiencing a problem that isn’t outlined here. What should I do?
