Hey everyone kinda surprised this hasn't come up as its own thread yet.
Encase you didn't know DoW3 has replaced Relics normal up keeps system with Escalation Phases, below I have included the what I have gleamed from the recent multiplayer videos,
- Escalation phase 1: Some amount of Unit Refund (my guess 25% or more) and no other bonuses, (will update if some one knows/points it out)
- Escalation phase 2 from 10mins: Units refund 15% of cost on death, +50% add-on resources, +50% objective structure health, +25% listening post health,
- Escalation phase 3 from 20mins: Units refund 5% of cost on death, +100% add-on resources, +100% objective structure health, +50% listening post health
It will be interesting to see how these values work once we get into open beta. Is it going to be better to just let units die off and then build a new one rather than running them back to base to be reinforced? From what I have seen in the late game a lot of people are struggling to spend everything as it comes in, but this can come back to the quality of the players. Nerveless in the late game it definitely seems like trying to preserve units will not be worth the players time, instead just focusing on bring everything to bear on its best target and using abilities.
