Dawn of War 3 is a Reincarnation!
Part I - The Cover is Reincarnation.
[I] In DoW 1, there are many types of Cover including Bushes(Light Cover), Craters(Heavy Cover) and Rivers(Negative Cover).
[II] In DoW 3, there are 3 types of Cover including Defensive Cover, Sight Block Cover and Ability Cover.
[III] The defensive cover has evolved to the Damage Absorb Cover, so it's the strongest in the series. But, Power is not cheap, there is some restriction of it including Capture to use, Destroyed then gone, and Weak against Melee.
[IV] The bushes has evolved to the sight block cover and when units are inside then they are invisible. The sight block cover provides an opportunity to ambush your enemy.
[V] The high ground advantage. In DoW 3, the high ground advantage is the sight block, and it means you can see and attack your enemy but your enemy can't see and attack your units.
[VI] The Cover has been implant into abilities of Elite Units. There so many Elite units have the defensive cover ability can use and if it were cast well and then it could turn the tide of battle.
[VII] If you are missing the "Build-able" Cover and then the Eldar keep this feature for you.
Part II - The Retreat is Reincarnation.
[I] In DoW 2, there is a retreat order for ever faction to preserve their units.
[II] In DoW 3, the retreat order has evolved to the "Recall" order. When players reach the late game and then they can get it.
Part III - The Sync-Kill is Reincarnation.
[I] In DoW 1&2, there are sync-kills.
[II] In DoW 3, the sync-kill has evolved to "Cool Combat Abilities".
Part IV - The Army Combination is Reincarnation.
[I] In DoW 1 &2, the army combination are fixed.
[II] In DoW 3, there are more and more Elite units can let players to choose to customize their Army.
