The main problem is, i feel like elites are too strong in some situations + melee deals to much damge, i was playing eldar so they are more on hit and run tactics, but the ranger need preparation time for sniping, so any melee units that survive the first snipe will chase after them with jumppacks etc, my ranger barley can run away and without support they die quick.
The problem is, that melee units have small bolter/pistols so while they chase ranged units they shoot onto them till they engage melee combat, same for some other ranged units that need preparation for ranged combat - while melee seem to be instant.
For example the Hero Angelos Gabriel, could not get him down with 2 eldar elites the (priest+banshee) + 2 sniper ranger squads +1 dark khindar while he was on a capture point, was impossible hes a way too tanky and his ability to jump into battle is away too strong combined with his constant melee aoe knockback, my ranged units couldn even run away and die too quick.
The sprint ability of the eldar is blocked when they are in combat, so using "sprint" to retreat to certain range is not working well.
also sniping makes too less damage on elite infantery - there should be more damage to make snipers more value they are pretty strong against entry infantery but suck against heavy infantery etc the damage they deal compared to the thoughness they have is too bad, when you consider the costs - i rather build banshee or dark khindar and get more value.
