After playing 26 hours on beta, really enjoying it, theres a few things that niggle me. Mainly the stuns on units, and how they effect the responsiveness of units.
Say for example I want to teleport some wraith guard back to base, but they get stunned 1 second before i press the teleport, they survive through the stun but the order does not go off.... it resets the order and the unit just stands there. I will diverge a bit here, why do I have to press the recall, and then press the building to have my wraithguard recall? It means i have to press one button, find the building and click the building....., why cant i just press the button and have them recall automatically to the building?... by the time i've found the wraith guard building 2 seconds have passed... and yeah my units died because of how lethal the damage can be.
Weapon cooldowns. Dire avengers have a cool down between bursts, if you try and use a grenade during this down time, the unit is essentially none responsive, wont even move then when their cooldown has finished, they throw the grenade, completly missing the target, wasting a cooldown and making my dire avengers stand there like plebs. This really annoys me, and really affects my flow in game. Relic please fix this as it is making the game very clunky.
With the lethality in the game, which I have no problem with, it makes the game fast paced and fun but atleast let the controls be as reactive to how fast I play, because they really don't feel that way. It feels unresponsive and head banging annoying.
