I was so pleasantly surprised at how great DOW3 works on my system,I have low to mid tier pc and I am happy to report not one graphic or compatibility issue. I am so happy that relic was able to get great game performance right from the start. I am very hopeful for people that are in the low end spectrum,as I feel many of them will be able to enjoy this wonderful game.
I also wanted to ask community members how there experience was as far as ingame optimization is concerned, pls list your spec along with your comments.

My experience wasn't that great, sole for the fact that the game keeps being locked at 3840x2160p no matter what resolution I pick. I get 20-30fps like that. Although, I'm still using FX-8320E while waiting for my Ryzen AM4 mobo to arrive. It should be here in time for the Open Beta, it will be interesting to compare results then. All of this is paired wtih XFX RX480 GTR and 16GB of RAM atm. Looks good, tho.

Now its too late, but in case the problem persists into open beta. Go to documents/mygames/DowIIIBeta and delete that folder completely. That will reset all settings to default. Then dont pick Use suggested but select the proper resolution manually.
The game should run on your system flawlessly.
Renner
Thx, I'll keep that in mind in case its needed in the future.
dukejason

I Can't wait to see this game in it's maxed out beauty. (since i basically shelled out a fortune for my pc.) I have a gtx 1070 with 8 gb of gddr5, 24 gb of ddr4 ram, a intel i5 quad core. So this game should be beautiful.
dukejason
Its awesome on low settings and thats what i am so happy about.
SONOFDORM
Yes i have heard that! So good that others can experience such a good looking game without paying a fortune. But at max i bet it is amazing. So happy for both reasons!

I can confirm that - at least for me - the 1070 alone makes this run very well. Most of my other components are dated (but solid), but going from a 660 Ti to a 1070 pushed my settings from Medium / High to Maximum at 1080p (at a stable 60FPS).
Creature
This answers a question I had. Was thinking about upgrading to 1070 in a year or so and wondering if it could max it.
KommandantKavu
Where did you pull your frame-rate from?
dukejason
1070 is top of the line so i am going to say yes, or very close to max. Your other specs come into play as well.
RECOMMENDED spec:
OS: 64-bit Windows 10 with latest updates
Processor: 3GHz i5 quad core or equivalent
Memory: 8 GB of RAM, 2 GB of VRAM MB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 770 or AMD Radeon 7970 or equivalent DirectX 11 card
DirectX: Version 11
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Storage: 50 GB available space
Additional Notes: Game requires Internet connection for play and progression.

Well there's always the 1080 and Ti
But yeah, you're right! 1070 is a great price point for the performance. 1080 / Ti is only really worth it if you want to push 4k.
dukejason
I wish i could get that card, its very pricey.
Gorb
The 1060 will do a lot of games well, absolutely. Very good card still.
My 660 Ti was the 3GB model, a fair bit better than the base 660. Lasted me well for < £200 (had it almost 4 years).

Steam has integrated fps counter, but it has to be turned on in the options. I have over 30fps at the beginning of the game, but it starts averaging on 25 later in the game, dropping even bellow 20fps late game.
Renner
It was 3v3 team games mostly.
dukejason
I have 1050 ti 4gb,i did only 3 vs 3, flawless.
Mecha_Cat
I've got the gtx 1060 6gb and can say its an awesome card coming from a gtx 680 and gaming at 1920x1200.
dukejason
I think 750 ti or better with good specs will run this game vey well,750ti is about 50 usd on ebay.
Creature
What settings do you run on and what fps do you get, if you don't mind the hassle of typing that out...
MajBumWhistler
I wouldn't say low to mid tier, I play Ghost Recon Wildlands on High settings with the same rig
well I got ssd but same.

Since this is sort of the thing I'm looking at currently I'm looking into a motherboard and processor upgrade.
Currently my CPU is an out-dated i7 870 from '09. My GFX card however is an AMD Radeon R9 380 which I bought last year.
Looking for a motherboard to support it better and a new processor within the under £200 range if anyone can give any recommendations?
dukejason
What kind of power supply do you have?

...And I'm sitting here with a laptop...
