Hi, I've played to 40k since I was 12, painted figs, etc.. I play Space Wolves and Chaos (so rarely making the front cover for the big games, sadly)
And I played GORKAMORKA too. and I ++heresy redacted++ miss it sooooooooo much.. It would need a game kinda like the Mad Max one, but filled with Crazy Orks, Gorkers, Morkers, Snots, Grots, and the other Pyramids robots I forgot the names. :-)
Oh, I'm also an artist and filmmaker, and you can check my work at: www.danslecoin.net (and the film at: www.eenola.com )
Hello, I'm Obiyer. My name is from an old obscure OVA of an anime series called Record of the Lodoss War.
I'm not a big a Warhammer 40k fan but I do like mecha and power armor. I guess that automatically makes me a Tau player, lol. I've enjoyed the DoW series ever since its conception. I remember downloading the demo of the original DoW then going out to my local EB Games and buying a box copy. I've only played DoW 2, not Chaos Rising or Retribution. I've recently purchased them and want to go through a play through of the entire series at some point.
I want to say thank you to Relic for developing the series and hanging in there. It must've been hard with the THQ bankruptcy. Also, I remember a Relic dev who passed away in a car accident. The story touched me because of how he passed away. Unless I'm mistaken, his wife was with child, and he positioned the vehicle so it would be him that would be hurt and not her. T^T
Anyway, I'm looking forward to DoW3!
Well, had best start somewhere!
Hi all, an old DoW 1, 2 plus all expansions player and a big fan of Relic and the Gamesworkshop.
Cannot wait for DoW 3!
I should've posted a long time ago but hi! Old-time Relic fan since 1999 and a longtime user on the soon-to-be-closed Relicnews forums. I own and have loved all of the Dawn of War games and will defend DoWII passionately for all of its flaws. Big Eldar fan.
Excited for iNcontroL playing Eldar later today, nice to see him gracing other communities with his presence. I know Day visited Relic back in 2011 too...
I used to be quite active in the DoW1 and CoH1 days but somehow did not get into the second incarnations of the two. Am very curious to see if DoW3 will give me the feel of the "good old days" if you will.
My prime interests are Multiplayer and ( Obviously ) Orkz. I am also a Relicnews refugee, and as long as i end up liking DoW3, this forum might end up as a new home.
PS: I guess there could be some Ork pic avatar options after the upcoming Ork reveal?
@Wargrim Welcome to the forums! We're glad to have you and anyone from the Relicnews community here.
As for the Ork avatars - you bet! They'll be released alongside the unit spotlights.
Thanks for the welcome guys!
Hello brothers i've been a 40K fan for a long time and am looking forward to a new chapter of Dawn of War !
Hello. I am a Warhammer 40k and Fantasy fan (only starting at tabletop) i'ver been playing since dow 1 since it was one of first games i've owned. I'm not that young but i got PC somewhat late and most importantly I am a big ork fan so yeah... WAAAGH!
Hey guys, I've been around since the Dawn of War 1 days, played all of the games in the series as well as CoH2. Was even on the Relicnews forums (RIP) back in the day under a different name. Anyway I made this account back when the forums came up but never used it and mostly just lurked. I'm very excited for Dawn of War 3 and look forward to play with and against some of you when it comes out!
Hey all, my name is Randall. Been gaming my whole life. Looking forward to this game, hoping for a good community and balanced play! Hopefully the lot of ya stick around longer than in COH, seems the player base decreased too early Here is to a great RTS, PC gaming needs one
I'm an RTS fan, and fond of 2 particular series: Command and Conquer (RIP), and... you guessed it, Dawn of War. To be more precise on my RTS and DoW experience, I'd say I'm mostly a "semi-casual": I play the campaigns a lot, but I'd rather play with my friends against bots than against another player. I loved to LAN with my friends on the first DoW and its expansions, and although I didn't play a lot of multiplayer on DoW2 (with the exception of The Last Stand), I really liked the campaign (even if it didn't feel like the first game). I like each of those games in their own way! Ho, Dawn of War also made me interested in the 40k setting and the tabletop game, and I like to think I'm quite versed in the lore.
I'm usually more of a lurker, so don't worry if I don't actively participate and/or disappear after some time. But why are you here if you're a filthy lurker?
Glad you asked, voice in my head! I red a lot of forums/Youtube videos and commentaries for everything DoW3-related, and saw a lot of hate, but not much constructive criticism. Things like "LOL MOBA", "not enough grimdark, too cartoony!!1!", "the bolters don't sound like bolters, that's lore-breaking!" and "NO CHAOS, NO BUY!". (Yes, I red a lot of that in here too, and yes, these """quotes""" were pure strawmen, but you get the idea.) I figured I'd come here to voice my opinion - mostly reassuring Relic on the quality of their game (because the vast majority of it seems really solid to me) and discuss about the things that I like in what I see and about the few things that I'd like to see modified/upgraded to make DoW3 the best RTS game ever released - for me and the other players hopefully. In the Emperor's name!
Ho, and I'm french, so... sorry for the possible mistakes I made/will make!
Hi everyone love 40k , super hyped for DoW3 can't wait and battle it out on multiplayer
DOW fan. Warhammer fan. Strategy fan. Nerd. Hi.
I hosted the Binary Assault DOW tournament back in the early Winter Assault days. Stefan Haines dominated it, if I remember correctly. Fun stuff, we should do it again.
Howdy! Been a tabletop player for 7 years, was brought into wh40k from DoW(first thing was Dark Crusade beta), wont be lying. Have a Black Templars army, my own chapter army, and some Alpha Legion, Adeptus Mechanicus and Ork mercs (these ones arent really big tho). Planning on starting some Horus Heresy around (more of a collector. Cant understand people who have only one army for playing, isnt it boring?) Even if there are tons of dow3 haters already somehow, I am pretty sure you'll make a great game. I also expect a new wave of players to the tabletop after this, like in gdold times!
HI Everyone, I've been Playing RTS's fpr years and have played all the DOW games and the CoH games. Also i've been playing the tabletop different versions of 40K since the 90's and have a sisters of battle army, tyranid army, tau army, and an imperial Fists Space marine chapter. beu even though I've spent all this time with those games and IP\s i would still classify myself as a casual gamer.
Hello there! I'm dafter312, a long-time Dota 2 and Starcraft 2 player, also, a hardcore fan of DoW1 and a fan of Warhammer universe as a whole. My fav faction in this endless chaos of grim dark future are Necrons, cause they're grim af : D
I'm super excited for the upcoming DoW3 release as I'm a very competitve gamer and I found that I like RTS a lot in last months. I did research and I love the way new Dawn of War game is taking!
Relic Entertainment, you are love!

Relic you better have a lot of squishy tanks in the game.
Hello! I am Millnads and have only payed The Last Stand alone for DoW 2 on steam but hope to get into DOW3 much more!
Some of you may remember me from the RelicForums; I was extremely active in the community for DoW1, lost interest somewhat in DoW2 although did get my Orkz to L60, and now I'm back keeping an eye on the third game... Crossing my fingers for another wonderful installment! Not sure I'll post much until nearer launch, but who knows?
Oi! Titler old Grot botherer! I knew i knew that smell from somewhere! Welcome!
Hi all really looking forward to DOW 3 can't wait. Love how it looking. Am hoping that they add in executions and sort out that odd jump ability Chapter Master Gabriel has in his Tartarus Pattern terminator armour.
I enjoy Dawn of War games & love playing the Tau race in Dark Crusade.
Greetings my fellow battle mates! I present myself as both fan and an admirer of Dawn of War and The Last stand! I am very elicited to see what the next installment has to offer, especially last stand. Enough of the greetings, now say "Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light." in Gabriel Angelos voice! For the emporerrrrrrrrr!
alright alright enough of my nerdgasm, you guys get the point, its dawn of war, nothing can go wrong
I'm Blue. DoW is my favorite RTS. I'm a fan of Last Stand, and my favorite playable factions are Orks and Marines.
My first 40k game was Dawn Of War. Since than i am a huge fan of the 40k universe. UA and ELITE are my favorites at the moment.
Long time RTS fan; started with Dune 2000.... well actually started with Battletech: The Crescent Hawk's Revenge but D2000 seems closer to the classification here , but I can't in good conscious call myself an "RTS Player" due to almost never having played against other people... perhaps a dozen times total. No internet as a kid, no internet of my own in college, suddenly kids of my own, then little inclination to deal with competitive douches as a hobby-gaming father. (Why did I pick StarCraft 2 as my "ease into multiplayer" title?? Ugggh)
I missed DoW the first go around, but received DoW2 as a gift from my wife. And naturally our humble big box store pc couldn't run it... so I shoehorned a 8800GT in there with an off brand PSU (my first and last non-modular power supply, like a Cthonic nightmare possessing one quarter of the mini-tower). After two years of that there was nothing to do but build a proper rig. Despite this sort of hobby being rather out of our budget at the time, my lady was very encouraging and supportive; in fact she said my gaming was way cheaper and less intrusive on our daily lives than her ex-husband's inclination to spend around five grand a year on new hunting gear even when he didn't actually go hunting. So an i5-2500k and a GTX560 Ti 448 has seen me sitting pretty for a number of years since then (See? Wife's fault... clearly).
Now I'm trickling in budget-conscious parts to update for DoW 3.
Dear developers! I hope you will give players the ability to adjust the hotkeys for themselves and include the possibility of a quick attack, movement and abilities, as is done in MOBA games. This policy will allow players of other games to know this wonderful world of war. World of Warhammer. It is necessary to develop the game. PS my English is not so good, but I hope you understand me. Thank you for attention !
