Registered too; but I'm a bit worried one of the questions is if you have any MOBA experience... I really, REALLY hope they're not making the same mistake as with DoW 2. I know, I know... some of you preferred that style to the first's more traditional RTS, but it's hard to see how MOBA and mass armies will satisfy anyone.

I wouldn't worry too much. It's probably to do with the importance of abilities. We've seen enough gameplay to get that idea.
But if you read the 'Sign up now' button at the very bottom of the dawnofwar.com webpage, it's written : "The loyal are rewarded".
So, let's hope loyals will be rewarded !
Ah, who knows. When the CoH2 Alpha started, it was like first come first serve. And some people who preordered the game who came late were disappointed. Or when The British Army invites started, I have a friend who was a long time supporter and tester, also did some maps and mods. After he wasn't invited but saw some hardcore idiots and trolls from the community being invited, its hardly enough to say that he was disappointed. Lets just say his entusiasm about anything Relic related dropped considerbly. He still laughs at me today for being a fan, but most of that I'm seeing as a joke, since he is like that usually. Usually... Ofc I would be sad not being invited in, I can't wait to try it out, but eh, the life goes on. Seems to be random, and I can only cross my fingers and wait.
Especially those who are testing them personally. Funny thing is that a lot of those who enter lose enthusiasm soon after. Some just try it out and leave, or even selling their keys. Some leave after they face the reality that the testing build is full of bugs and glitches, which is normal for that stage, and leave plus going around telling everyone how everything is horrible. Some simply don't like it. Not to mention leaks and even live streams. Only a handfull of people remain persistent. But they want a wide range of players for the test, I guess they'll get them in the end.
I'll add my voice to the choir. I don't really know how that would be of use for Relic. @Kat_RE ?
because its a closed alpha/beta test, and if you get chosen, you'll have to go through a lot of hoops to sign NDA contracts that they can potentially sue you for if you breach them.

if you get an NDA contract and leak out information, they can normally track down who did it (through watermarks and such) and they can ban you/sue you for it.

Regarding the phone number, i think it was pretty much an epic fail from whomever designed the form. It is of no use to them, also i do believe it has been removed since then.
