I live in the usa and on steam I only see the basic edition for 59.99 . the dow website clearly states if you purchase the collectors edition on steam you will get the vehicle skins also. so why isn't steam selling the collators edition. it would be nice to get the vehicle skins also since the dow website don't offer the vehicle skins.. so whats going on here..?

Steam doesn't sell physical copies.

As the collectors edition additional stuff is purely physical goods its not on steam. It's nice to see them not putting one together for steam just for the sake of trying to get more money out of up.

that's odd they would put steam selling the collectors edition right up front on dow website then.. it also says if you buy it on the website you don't get the vehicle skins.. steams basic pack does have vehicle skins. so to get everything you basically have to buy it on both steam and the website.. that's 60 bucks wasted.. unless dow site made a mistake not listing that you get vehicle skins buying from dow site.. that's messed up...!

i cant find dawn of war 3 in steam

I'm not really sure what you're talking about, I don't see anything on the Dawn of War site that says the collectors edition is available from Steam. Also, they do say that ordering from the site gives you the vehicle skins. It is mentioned in the pre-order FAQ.

Might be a country thing. This is the link that works for me in the UK

If one were to purchase a physical copy of Dawn of War 3 such as the limited or collectors, but has no means to install the game with the given disc, it it possible to register that said copy to steam and download it?

the preorder gives the coh2 skins, collector editions has other physical goodies like soundtrack disk

I'm pretty sure that whatever edition you purchase, it comes with a digital steam key for the game. It's been so with some of the latest AAA games, but the reason I'm pretty confident in it, is that it was the same for TW: Warhammer, which was made by Sega, whom are also the ones responsible for DoW3 CE (I'd imagine).
