Completely new to Dow

Hello folks, first time DoW player here. I play just about every RTS game that comes out but for some reason haven't got to DoW yet..I guess I've invested in gaming consoles instead of PC might be the main reason. Anyway, will DoW III be worth buying even if you don't have the best PC setup? I'v seen the game play footage and I think I want to preorder it right now..I'm currently playing HALO WARS 2 a lot right now..Thanks for letting me rant..Happy Gaming

best way to find out is to try the open beta this weekend, no one can answer as well as you actually playing it and experiencing it.

beta starts in a few hours so you can find out! but the requirements really aren't that high at all, considering its like a gtx 770 for rec. specs. So if you're playing halo wars 2 now, you should be able to play dow 3.

I'm quite new myself, I played DoW 1 alot, but didn't really play DoW 2 at all; this game seems very close to DoW 2, moreso than DoW 1, so you won't be the only newbie!
Yeah sadly you need a pretty good PC to run it, mainly graphics card though, I think 2000mb is the recommended for the graphics card, which is pretty heavy imo.

@RTSGuy well we do have minimal and recommanded specs, do you happen to know what is your PC setup exactly? The minimal requirement is pretty low (the most limiting factor would be the CPU power I think) but it's always better to be sure!
It's funny, DoW2 players feel like the game is very close to DoW1.
Few are the ones considering the game might be its own beast alltogether.

Thanks for the feed back guys..well I'm playing Halo Wars 2 on xbox one right now so yea I'll have to test my pc with the beta today. I'll have to wait till after work unfortunately lol.
