Hello .
I was searching now a little bit, but i see no balance change patchnotes.
I played now few games with Eldar, and they changed the relocate mechanic from warpgate, i mean its not bad that they start to nerf this mechanic.
But it would be awesome to get some information's ??
Now relocate has even with doktrin a 25 second cooldown, im not sure if its exactly 25, cause we have no tooltip. It just feels like 25-30 seconds cooldown!
Also the relocation cost you more time, that means 4-6 seconds delay before it spawn's.
Still this full relocate mechanic, not only from Warpgate, you can relocate everythink all 90 seconds . Is way to strong on tier1.
I would say, you should give relocate to tier 2.
There to much cheesy build's with relocate stuff.
I mean on Min 4, he will just port every building in front , and attack your shieldgenerator. while having a Speedbuff, able to healup, and instant new unit's.
If your opponent try to defend, you will fight there 1-2 mins anyway, after breaking the shieldbubble, you are able to relocate everythink to another location and pressure there again!
Its just way to powerfull in earlygame, cause the buildings has to much HP , you basicly can't kill it if the army is near of it! and the eldar is pushing unit's.
You basicly can't have more army then the Eldar, his unit is cheap, and he is able to build instantly 2 reactor's.
Anyway little bit offtopic sorry.
I just want to know if there is any other balance change includet ?
I saw SM is still the same, or atleast the ASM doktrin. But relocate got nerfed. like i wrote, its still to powerfull. And its not about the cooldown.
Relocate from buildings is in any case to powerfull in earlygame, combinated with the shieldmechanic from eldar, and the cheap+powerfull base unit . And scorpionknight ofcourse.

A balance patch is confirmed for later this month!

Read patch and hotfix notes, then you see changes. Look at the CD after using the abilities then you see the CD.

Hmm.. my webway gate has 50sec CD with doctrine not 25 , so I guess you are wrong or this is a bug again?
Auni
ehm . i read this topic i never read a balance change for today, 11.5 but they changed today something! ike warpgate.
any idea what else? and why we get no information about that.
i guess my topics are alltime to long, cause some answers here are nonsense sorrs^^
i know there is a balance fix end this mounth, and also i read the hotfix.
both things are not a answer to my question.

I think they posted a hotfix a couple days ago regarding that ability - something about a bug where if you had both an army and elite buff equipped, the effects would stack (unintentional). You might be observing the CD that the ability was supposed to have, without that unintentional stack.

This was posted yesterday on the Dawn Of War feed on steam:
''Fixed a bug where Improved Webways could be equipped as an Elite Doctrine and as an Army Doctrine, causing an unintended effect on cooldown reduction.''
I hope this answers your question
Grahell
They finally fixed the Webway bug, now it warps slower and has a longer cooldown. Will see if Eldar are more balanced with this bug fix ^^

That is how it is suppose to work. Normal CD is 90 seconds with a 10 second relocation channel. The doctrine drops the CD by 40 seconds, so it will be 50 second CD and drops the relocation channel by 4 seconds so it will now take 6 seconds.

Wow, I'm actually surprised they expedited this bug fix, as I'm assuming it didn't make the last patch sprint because it wasn't found until too late in the process.
I'm impressed.
PrimaGoosa
It seems like you try your absolute hardest to take issue with every possible little thing they do. Maybe a related aspect of this bug fix was the CD reduction of the elite doctrine being taken solo.
They prioritized this bug to fix it a couple days after their main bug patch, and the best you can say is "who knows what else they left out? Someone somewhere might be exploiting something, and they could still be exploiting it, or maybe that is fixed to and they didn't deign to tell us. GG Relic".
Kharneth
You seem to misunderstand what was happening, what was fixed, and why it is how it is now.
This has been clearly documented in another thread by another member, idk which thread or which member, but if he sees this he can speak up.
Webway w/o doctrine = 90 second CD w/ 10 sec relocate
Webway w/ Wraithlord doctrine = bugged to double stack providing 10 sec CD w/ 2 sec relocate.
Webway w/ Army doctrine = working as intended: 50 second CD w/ 6 sec relocate.
Webway w/ Wraithlord + Army doctrine = triple stack. No CD and instant relocate.
The doctrine reduces the CD by 40 seconds and the relocation time by 4 seconds. What you're suppose to have happen, and what it sounds like happens now, is that your webway relocates after 6 seconds and has a 50 second cooldown.
The doctrine was never suppose to be 10 second CD, that was a part of the bug which was a two-part bug. They did not nerf it to reduce the CD, but instead removed both bugs that were unintentionally being combined to make it 10 second CD or even no CD.
Kharneth
@TripSin I agree with you completely on everything you said.
They either poorly explained themselves or did not fix the other issue (idk if it still exists). But I do know that there was a way to double stack AND triple stack the wraithlord doctrine. You could make it instant w/o a CD if you equipped the wraithlord and the army doctrine. You could also just take the wraithlord by itself and see that the doctrine was better than if you took it alone as an army doctrine.
I know what they said, and you're accurate in what you said, but I'm not actually sure of what they did.
epIx
it seems the bug still persists
PrimaGoosa
Which bug in particular? How severely?
Or is this an opportunity for me to assume the worst and grab my pitchfork against Relic, mine enemy?
Kharneth
I assume this:
Army Doctrine and Wraithlord doctrine no longer stack, however, the wraithlord doctrine is still bugged and always stacks with itself when taken as the wraithlord.
Meaning if you take the army doctrine it won't be quite as good as taking the wraithlord doctrine, however, taking both at the same time is a waste of an army doctrine slot.
