I desperatly need help vs Eldar. There Dire Avenger Mobs are bigger than Orcs and kite better than Phoenix in SC2. I have no clue what to do and the online gaming sucks cause it is the only thing eldar players do.
Skip Tacticals, go straight for a Barracks and Assault Marines + Scouts, then hope for the best. Make sure you've got the Venerable Dreadnought Assault Leap Doctrine for your ASM.
Use Librarian as one of your heroes.
Or better replace the Librarian for the Deathwatch they arent that good but currently they are far more Versatile and better then having Jonah.
Since you can use the as a meatshield or Homer becon them off and then in again wich sometimes can change fights.
But as said above you should Hope for the best.

I disagree. I have way more success with Jonah and think he's vastly more versatile than the Deathwatch (he has true damage, after all). I find him way more survivable too, due to his ability to blind. I find Deathwatch just get eaten alive by the enemy's 2-point elite (Striking Scorpions), Banshees, or simply taken out of the fight by a teleporting Bonesinger. The Grenade also doesn't seem to do very much damage unless the Deathwatch get to shoot into it, which never really happens due to melee tie-up. The only true advantage I see to them is that they come out earlier, but in the end I guess it comes down to personal preference.

Use whatever works for you.
Same thing here, I've had way more success with Johan. You can catch scorpions and kill them with ASM while you're shielded from DAs or reapers. And do it TWICE if needed with the banner and his presence doctrine. And he scales way better and he's useful during the all the 1vs1 match (maybe not so much in team games). Even a badly placed stonewall late game can split the enemy firepower in 2, even if you don't catch anything inside (and sometimes you don't want to catch anything, not fun for Johan being stranded alone with some Nobz XD).
KT... well, you give them the launcher so they're not a total waste late game, and you can do some creative stuff like dropping them and the final elite on the enemy core. But overall... Johan earns his extra point cost very well.

that is true but at the moment most eldar spam avengers or they go for early falcons and i think deathwatch works better becuse of the rockets and as you said that is the point the striking scorpions will want to go for the deathwatch and your other troops will be able to atack freely but as you said, you cant really argue about elites its up to the person really.
EDIT: and another reason why i dont use jonah that much anymore is the spam if they start spamming and Jonah gets caught there is no way he can escape.

It's still an uphill fight, but you've got a better chance with this than anything else.

Somebody literally just posted this guide earlier in the day in the main forum, check it out. It covers the basics.
