So does anyone have numbers of how much additional damage the flames inflict?
It seems obscene - even against vehicle armor units like wraithguards; a single whirlwind wipes out infantry and massively damages vehicles.
You don't need to 'spam' whirlwinds at all when solaria's on the field.
I'm ditching Paladin in 2v2/3v3 for Solaria know that I've tested the sheer destructive power of whirlwinds (I didn't know it was this good).

I don't know. Reasonably, they shouldn't but you never know in this particular game of 1-hit-button instagib, unavoidable nukes.

I think they do Normal damage, because when I catch some skimmers (like Landspeeders) with Slow Death they do chip damage to them while melting infantry pretty good.

It also penetrates cover.. learned that the hard way...

I melted the enemy Solaria into ork scrap with a barrage of 6 whirlwinds.
10/10 would barbecue enemies again.

6 whirlwinds are very easy countered by 2 gliders.

2 gliders are easily countered by solaria standing guard on the whirlwinds.
That or lascannon teams.

Well, they are slow so if they are on the front side, your backdoor is open;p
And orbital beam makes wonders)
