This is my first map and I still have a little camera work to do. This map is inspired by the DOW2 map Quest's Heresy. This is a symmetric map which should be suitable for competitive play. The map is designed to have more open space than current Relic designed maps. I have added the new DOW3 features to the map such as elevated platforms and concealment but not bridges. I have tried to design the map so that the player is rewarded for taking strategically important ground, rather than capture points being on obscurally and peripherally positioned platforms.
In the future i intend to sink the middle area for a visual effect relative to the surrounding sands. I have had some problems with the camera mesh which I will work on. The symmetric layout needs play testing as the elevated areas near to the player camera may need to be reviewed and removed as they affect vision.
