Part 3, the inability to provide and implement the feedback.
Analysing the downfall of RTS genre.
===> Why can't RTS games, be just RTS games ?
If there are some bad ideas in game design and for sure by any game they came up,
its almost impossible to get rid of them. At certain point that makes the game unplayable.
1 Lead designers just try to get the job done and developers do as it is told to them,
so most recent games end up more as software applications rather than games entertainment.
2 Well facing the feedback from community its up to 90% either a catch phrase , walls of text or a lot rant.
3 Our front to fix games like pc gaming magazines are not really competent,
if something like No Mans Sky or Mass Effect Andromeda, isn't from start on described as what it is.
You can not trust them anymore.
4 There are everywhere always people who protect bad designs,
no matter how broken they are.
5 You can not trust any gamer reviews.
There are always people who like and dislike a game.
6 By most games people are not excited of games any more,
do more and more ask OK what's the catch ?
===> While for community the game fails are obvious.
Developer has maybe no idea what he had done wrong at all.
-It requires from community to express themselves properly with arguments.
-It requires from a developer to find it out what it is and understand the issue.
The most difficult task for developer is to admit that he has done something wrong.
After all the developer has the responsibility for the project.
===> There is always some kind of common sense,
what needs to be done, so the game is playable.
What sound as simple steps
1 definite the problem
2 definite how to get rid of it
3 do it
doesn't happen "for reasons" by many games.
If its not done, people assume its a bad game.
So less and less people buy games.
