Started wading through the discussions and quit, figured I'd just ask.
Did they add annihilation? Is it good?
Any word on expansions?
They responding to feedback? If the rumor about annihilation is true thats a really good sign.
Might as well give everyone something to crucify me for; the game is back on my wishlist... just... waiting on a sale

Annihilation was added months ago with 2 variations. Not a fan so I can't tell how it plays.
They respond to feedback with patches, balance, mod tools, annihilation mode.
There was "50% sale" which ended 2 weeks ago.

Ahni mode is present. Not in ranked ladder which is fine i guess. The more power core i play the more i like it i guess.
Ahni mode works just like any other ahni and you have option to start with defenses or go classic

should be noted annihilation is a bit different from soulstorm since when you base is destroyed in team game all your army does not disappear so you can keep fighting and even rebuild if you have builders; also killing hq should make all other buildings belong to that player visible even through the fog of war. At least that's what I heard I mostly play power mode myself.

We have no official word on expansions yet, but they have confirmed there will be more content coming, probably in the form of skins, maps, gamemodes, observer mode and other similar additions. Some people who visit relic have slipped up a bit saying they were working on something cool and that it was not any of the factions present in campaign so likely not necron, imperial guard or chaos, at least not exclusively.

who saw this??? and can u explain more? what can it be if its not one of these famous races?or maybe its not a faction and just a game mod(i will be disappointed)

Im a HUGE DoW1 fan, i've played that game to the very end until it was moved over to steam and all good players left it.
And im sure other people would LOVE it as well if there will be expansions in form of additional races and a campaign !
I would buy it for sure

I rly miss Chaos, Necron and Sisters of Battle. Those were my favourite races back then

Sounds a bit puzzling. I heard that mr. Cataclaw conversed with some of Relic's staff, but visiting them.. They are in Canada. Is this even possible?
Katitof
We've invented cruise planes some time ago, so yes, it is possible to go from one continent to another nowadays.
Gorb
Popular streamers frequently get invited places, and while I have no idea about Relic's policy, a lot of developers are more than happy to walk a fan around even if they just come calling.
Opinion post.
Ololo111
USSR have builded the first cruise plane, so you might have contracted a communism germ just now.
Which left us, unpopular players, bitting our nails when cool guys do all the bird job.
Sorry, but I just can't imagine it. Relic's got a work on the line, and to have someone around durring the shift.. it's just above me. You need a proper assignment, papper-work, just too many things in my consciousness to fill. Our department have less than 30 workers total and it would take 2 weeks minimum to arrange a visit, 3 months for an international visit, untill the Boss would snap his fingers right. Working shift is supposed to be highly codified in larger groups, isn't it?

I know people who have personally visited Relic over the years, though I don't know their circumstances. I know people on social media who visit other developers. All I can say is that it happens.

I saw word of this too. Its likely to be a faction or expansion they are working on. We can only speculate all i know is that they are working on something exciting.
Martin
visits are no big deal, it's not something to show disbelief for when there were other people who made videos of going to relic and playing the game prior to release.
The most obvious candidate is Tau, while dark eldar and sisters of batle seem less likely. That said when the guy is being vague and not specifying anything, it is possible he just forgot about one of the races in the game, like not counting necron since they were only teased, imperial guard because they were only present in the form of house varlock guards and space station guards and therefore not truly present, or perhaps he did not count chaos since we only saw daemons and converted other factions and not any chaos marine or similar directly.
Either way since it comes from a third party and there's no official confirmation I would not hold my breath for anything that does not come directly from relic even if it would seem extremely weird for it not to be true.
oh and if I remember correctly he also said something about there not being animations yet which would imply they were indeed working on a faction.
(I assume bloodletters count as daemons, not to wise with the lore and dont even know the difference between demon and daemon)
Wikkyd
Daemon is just relic's way of saying demon, blood letters are daemon though.
CANNED_F3TUS
How is tau an "obvious candidate" there is like no sign of tau being the next race like at all.
Daemon and demon are the same thing just written differently i think daemon is the european way of writing it.
And chaos had quite a presence in the end we saw demons and chaos buildings.
Martin
tau is obvious candidate because they seem more popular than sisters of battle and dark eldar. The more popular races are not obvious candidates since the guy said it was none of the races present in campaign.
jambai
And which races were in the campaign (yes I've played it, but I don't remember anything, it was so bad
)?
Seems silly releasing a niche race in a very unpopular game. Should be Chaos or IG (or Necron) to shake things up. But maybe it's not a popularity contest and/or it doesn't matter.
Btw, Daemon is just another spelling of Demon. It doesn't have to do with any particular company or continent (GameWorkshop and thus Relic happen to use this spelling), just different origins.

I wrote about that above in post #15(check upper right corner of posts) about this.
