Simple question.
Tell me how to counter heavy armor as eldar, espacialy termis in 1vs1 !
You give us the ability to build only infantrie, and then you give sm a Elite with double port and absurd dmg against infantrie.
And ofcourse a hp pool from 4k heavy armor...
So please, tell me what im supposed to build against this?
Espacialy with dev spam behind it.
and ofcourse tier 2/3 flag + infantrie upgrades.
i feel like , you got not a real plan about your own game.
Earlygame, completly domination by eldar, if he want to commit into this.
Midgame, completly garbage, cause wraithguard sux so hard against infantrie , and you play against 90% infantrie and 1-2 heavy armor units/elites.
So you cannot commit into 3-4 wraithguards just to kill a termi , espacialy how you want to cc him to prevent his teleport? (he has 2 of this ofcourse!)

Wraithguards.
Shadow Specters and Dark Reapers are not efficient against Terminators, because Terminators excel at killing infantry. Wraithguards, however, excell at volley-blasting armoured units, and have respectable range.
Fireprysms are also an option, but they may come too late.

Kyre is hard counter to Terminators, backed up by DPS, though I have sympathy, because Wraithguard, Spectres and Dark Reapers are all very poor against Terminators.

The teleport is pretty annoying, though I'm pretty sure they do not have 2 teleports, just a fairly short cooldown and fast charge up so its hard to stop.
They are really good value for a 6 point elite, but so are Kyre and Spiders, which I think you need to counter them. If you get the opportunity you can also engage them in melee (even your DAs will hold them for a while) to stop them from generating Fury and causing slow and AoE damage.

If you can manage to melee the terminators, they are extremely bad in melee with AP dps (I think this makes them a bit UP in melee - power fist should be true damage!).
Even a builder can occupy a terminator squad for a fair amount of time (assuming there arent other squads to shoot it, ofc).
Setting macha to melee would probably be enough to nullify them each fight. OFC, then the fight becomes if he can keep the melee of the terms, but this then becomes a micro-war.
Of course, terminators are the natural enemies of Eldar in every Dawn of War game (high damage and very durable teleporting unit to engage the flimsy Eldar...), so Eldar have far less room for error when they engage terminators in DoW3.
So you don't even need anti-armor to fight terms imo - if you can deal with his other units and keep the terminators tied in melee long enough to win that fight, it doesn't matter if you can't really kill the terminators so long as you can keep them in melee).
You may have to sacrifice Banshees and other squads to keep them tied up for as long as possible - but if you can do so until tech or another elite comes online it is usually worth it.

If don't see ANY way to tie up termis in CC that way. Even 2 or 3 devs are wrecking ANY Eldar infantery in seconds.
FirePrims? Hmmmmm no I don't think so ... too expensive ... too slow. If you get enough energy the SM allready steamrolled all your gens.
What is the base income for elite points? 1 per 2 minutes or was it 3 ? So IF the SM doesn't play Killteam, he will have Termis at round about 2x6 = 12 minutes or 3x6 = 18 minutes. He will also be at T2 or even T3, because SM doesn't need to spend any energy at all against Eldar.

Well in 1v1, dev spam isn't very good. It's doable, but certainly counterable.
I assume more players find terminators + dev spam in 2v2/3v3. As those are team games, utilizing teamwork can also easily overcome terminators.
And I'd like to see you try to rush terminators vs. good players - it really isn't easy (i'd say almost impossible outside of 3v3). You should be rewarded for doing so.

You should blow them on OP Spiders' mines, shot them with OP Longshot of Ronahn and, uur-durr, have you tried Banshees + Reapers? If there is too much of HBD's, you would definetely need a Falcon - no need to spend on Wraithguards.
In theory, Vypers could help, too, with proper hit-and-run, but I've never used it myself.

The only way to directly counter terms is 5 point elite, especially Kyre. The late game counters are Fire Prism and Wraithblade, Wraithguard can apply DPS but can be killed by the missiles. Because of current macro of the game you can never guarantee you will have the resource to build these counters, and losing a fight because the Terminators came out before they are on the field can easily mean all power gens or turret taken out. Shadow Spectres can deal high damage but only after charging up and get destroyed by most infantry. Eldar players also must micro very well to kill the Terms even with any of these counters, it's very easy for them to escape with the teleport. Vyper slow mines are pretty annoying for Terminator armies but Vyper is also hard to get out in time and you can never guarantee your opponent will walk in a mine.
Another reason Terminators are hard to deal with now is because Quick Strike was nerfed pretty hard by the 33% HP boost. Even though it was very strong I thought it was balanced because it requires a very specialised build order, a lot of micro and can be countered. It used to be a valid way to weaken infantry blobs to isolate the Terminators to take them out, but it's not in a good state now, it really must do a lot of damage to justify flinging your Banshees across the screen because of how high risk it is, currently it's not enough to make it a workable counter. I hope the damage of this is buffed by at least 20% after they took 33% effectiveness from it...
The strongest counter to Terminators is Kyre, but Warp Spiders will sometimes work too, unless you can get to the late game with Fire Prisms or an adequate Wraith army.
