I do not want to complain, but I'm just giving a little bit of my thoughts now.
Since the last update, I see nothing but a quick game of Spam, which does not say very boring.
I would like to try something new to think, theoretically what a true RTS is meant to use is the cup of jelly in our heads.
But the tactics are always there, but they are just the ones.
Of course, what you have to do is win because you want to win, and that's why you do what's always good and best.
But I do not want to believe that in a game that requires knowledge and intelligence, this is the maximum, and how fast I can push that button, I feel like I'm going to play all that fast, 5 minutes as fast as possible, and that's not the point.
Players and developers would be good at thinking that this is now an RTS game or a Spam / APM hussar game because I can play multitasking games for free and in a browser.
You should be the many species and you should be able to solve that mixed army, make sense to develop Tear.
Get some thinking.
This is a RTS game, let it be.

Dude, no one is forcing you to play PC or use doctrines, if you don't like them. There's a checkbox option for doctrines and annihilation game mode. Or do you want to force other people to play what you like?

If you remove pc dow3 is insta dead, go away with your silly ideas.
Annihilation is and will always be only an custom game mode and thats good you can spam every threat with your silly idea to remove pc mode it wont change anything.

Under your argumentation removing PC and doctrines would achieve nothing, because even people who don't like those two thing refuse to play without them for some odd reason.

Removing doctrins is not completely neccessary they could make them an ingame upgrade so you need to actually also unlock them ingame other than just have the skills that you chose before the game for free.
Either make it so that you can unlock the docs that you chosen before the game starts or even all. I mean to unlock them ingame with req or power or make a extra ressource for this.
Doctrins and how they work now really limit your actions and your playstyle, also you cant see what the enemy got before the game starts.

Personally I think that meta is like a plague, but sadly it is necessenary for any competiveness in multi. Luckilly in my compstomps I wouldn't bother with that, but if I would ever like to play competively, then I would have to adapt to meta unfortunately in order to win.

Sure you would need to adapt, otherwise you would get trashed most likely in most games by other players.

I think that some of you guys might want to try the 2vs2 and 3vs3 modes and stop playing 1vs1 only.
You will see that the game is far more interesting like that. You will see that early spams with line units will become absolete and you can have the chance to field higher point elites, enjoy more of the later tier units, enjoy synergies with other armies. Those modes have more viable doctrines.
I understand that some of the ppl only care about the ladder and focus only at honing their skills there and improve themselves and feel that the rest is a waste of time, but please try that for your own pleasure once in a while!

I like pc mode in 1v1 too would never think about playing any 1v1 in annihilation on a ladder system or tournament. You say i play mostly teamgames yet i participated in more 1v1 tourneys than you.

I think as the updates come in,the meta game will improve. More options and play styles will become available to us eventually as they continue to balance the game and add content.

You're not a slave to the metagame. Do your own thing.
If you get good enough at it, then the meta will change because everyone is losing with their meta builds.
The game is extremely well balanced and almost anything is viable.

I think the meta is not as dominant in 2 v 2s and 3 v 3s as it is with 1 v 1.

I can demonstrate for you sometime.
I'll play SM and you can do the cheesiest Tac spam build you can think of. I will not only beat it without tac spamming, but I will do so without using any 2 or 3 point elites. What do ya say?

Tac spam is countered by Dev spam.

Nades are close range. Devs do damage in a circle so they hit multiple models at once. Tacs will get shredded by Dev fire. Tacs can't enter cover.

Pretty sure a tactical or DA can just walk up to a dev and throw a grenade and take very manageable damage in the process... and this doesn't even consider "good" micro.
Bigamo is right - DA/Tact nades make for a very easy time when facing weapons teams.
