Age of Empires: Definitive Edition is done by another team, anyway people see gaming industry as one company,
if AoE-DE (20 year old game) gets roasted for quality problems on Windows Store, it will massively hurt AoE4.
The LOL thing is, it wasn't necessary to happen. You did see in DoW3 a lot of game mods that do emulate DoW1 and Last Stand,
so why didn't the developer by themself simply present it from start on ?
A lot of bad choices behind DoW3 were avoidable and pretty much mentioned through the community pre release.

I am disappointed to have paid a 50 euro game that is abandoned less than a year later without having experienced any real important content.
I also think of those who bought the collector's edition and who are hammering on the skull now.
Let's wait for an official statement.

Well that's one idea. I'm staying hopeful and I'll wait for something official from Relic itself. 'cuz if they have something prepared for the fabled February patch I see no reason to not release it even if it's the last thing they do to DoW3. Hope is the first step to - FACK OFF IS-A-DOOR !!!
Maybe they will announce the end of the follow-up of the game but to soften the bitterness of the people they put the servers in P2P as said LikeIce.
We almost want to tell them: if you have new races in your bags, corrections, or other content, give everything before closing the shop.

Sorry, professionals don't release a game without a ladder, without observer mode, with a doctrine system designed by a six year old and with the most stupid EVER objective.

Well, it was an obvious outcome. If you were a publisher, would you dump money on a game that wasn't received well and has very little player retention/interest? They'd rather focus on other projects.
Only thing left to do is wait another 6 years for DoW IV.
